Poatan v Gane @ Heavyweight.

It's good to know one's limits.
<DisgustingHHH>

I wasn't reading it because it was immediately apparent that you were going full Shitdog autist and fixating on the word 'starched' - which I used because you used it to refer to what would happen to Gane - and going on an irrelevant 'ackshually, he wasn't completely starched every time' meltdown full of pictures and other nonsense.

Poatan = stopped multiple times by strikes - including one outright 'starching'. Below HW. Gane = never stopped by strikes. Including at HW. That was the relevant point.

Classic Shitdog logic.

Guy gets dropped once - in a fight he otherwise dominated - by a big HW former professional boxer, therefore he has no chance against a guy who has been stopped twice at MW in MMA and has also been stopped twice in kickboxing.

Why does Gane getting dropped, and recovering, once by a HW puncher matter but Poatan getting outright starched multiple times below HW not matter?

Gane beat Francis on the feet. The same beast of a man who bullied (in the clinch) and dropped the lineal HW boxing champ on debut.

And yet you're absolutely convinced a former MW is just going to run through him on the feet at HW?
I think it is because they saw some training footage with Alex and Tai. Alex was "schooling" Tai in sparring. It is technical sparring. Tai is never going to do well in that type of sparring.

Poatan should not take any fight not for the title. Three weight champ oppurtunity or go kick rocks
so you think poatan deserves anything in this world
just like izzy whos 2-3 in his fights getting opportunities everywhere

but you dont think jones the best fighter of all time deserves to fight him?
cherry picking the ones you always like do you

I didn't say he deserves anything at all.

I say if he goes to hw at all he should just do it for the belt if he can or not bother.

Strip Jones and make Poatan vs Aspinall for the title. If Poatan wins then let Jon fight him. If Aspinall wins he can dunk on Jon and hopefully get him to fight finally.
That sounds good until you realize Jones transcends the belt. He is the golden goose more so than a fight for the belt and would get far more attention. It’s understandable you aren’t getting it fully but Jones is at that rockstar status . Sherdog hates the man and did for so many years you even saying something like this is HAHAHA. Jones is the only reason the UFC HW division is premier at the moment. THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT. The UFC doesn’t want him to lose to Aspinall’s nobody ass because that would be what you call TERRIBLE BUSINESS

Nice to see the UFC had a few shills left that don't care about sport legitimacy and just want to see the ufc make more money apparently.

Not only that, Tom isn't the nobody you make him out to be. Tom vs Jon is probably the only HW fight anyone wants to see right now and it would do huge numbers.

If the UFC really believes that Jones vs. Aspinall does huge PPV numbers, then let them pay Jones $25M, no PPV points to take the fight. Jones gets something approaching FU money and the UFC makes $30M - $60M more in PPV sales than they'll make on a rando PPV headliner. Easy win/win.

That's if they really believe that Jones vs. Aspinall does huge numbers. I'm guessing they don't really believe that and that they believe that they do no better than breaking even paying Jones that kind of money to fight Aspinall.

Fuck yourself very much. Nobody is going to entertain an uneducated dummy accusing shilling when telling the truth of how a business move doesn’t make sense. Fuck yourself

Honestly, how can anyone deal with those calf kicks? That is what really makes Alex so special. He absolutely destroys your leg and does it with very low amount of kicks. And for guys who rely on extreme movement, it really fucks them. Which is what would happen to Gane. I think Tom could deal with it by being super aggressive, whether that works for him or not will yet to be seen, but not sure Gane has it in him. And after that it would be all Alex unless Gane catches him with something big.
