https://www.youtube.com/user/proguide66 has spent more time hunting and living day and night in the woods than in his home. not hyperbole. he has shared some crazy things he has experienced out in the woods. hes a professional hunting guide in canada and his stance is the same as yours. too many quality people that know what they are doing in the woods see them.
some of the things he has shared are pretty intense. i really ought to have this stuff stored in files so i dont have to redo it so here is, but way redacted. he has also had two direct sightings of bigfoot. nobody on the planet is much more qualified than him to identity animals in the woods.
bare bones--
they pack supplies ten days
off trail into the woods on horses and mules.
they build platforms from topped trees 15 feet off the ground with power tools. 3/4 inch plywood and lag bolts.
they then wrap the trees in sheet metal so nothing can climb them.
they put a whole camp supply (no food) on the platform, tarp it down and strap it all down with ratchet straps. the whole point is that these are animal proof and especially grizzly proof. its common practice.
then they ride out and later bring high paying customers to these pristine sites as guides.
nobody knows where these are but them and like i said 10 fucking days off trail by horse. think about what that means man.......
more than once he has come upon these platforms with customers and the whole site is wrecked. he said plywood has been wrenched off the lag bolts and thrown away so fast that one stuck in the ground... the lag bolts (think screws as thick as your finger) are bent and mangled. once a 150 pound canvas wall tent was found 100 yards away unopened but with no teeth marks or signs on the canvas.
in fact there are no bite marks of any kind on any of the supplies even though much of it is mangled....
that stuff is just crazy man. imagine coming to a site you built in the middle of nowhere, no roads, no trails and seeing that......
