For this upcoming generation I’ve just resigned myself to the fact that I will probably only be able to hold a small number of games at any one time on my console. I got my PS4 in June 2015 and it only came with a 500 gb HDD. In January 2017 I swapped it out with a 2TB but if it’s not affordable this coming generation I’ll just learn to live with deleting games and downloading others on a more frequent basis.
I’ll have to talk to Mrs. Worm about changing our home internet plan to one without any data limit. I think right now we’re at 500gb (or maybe it’s 650gb) a month, and we basically come right up to the line or even cross it every month since covid because my wife is working from home and is on zoom meetings like 30 hours per week, our kids watch lots of shows on Netflix, and occasionally the games on my PS4 will do automatic updates (fuck you COD Warzone) that will push us over our limit and then we have to pay extra.
ISP data limits exist? Do you and Mrs Worm use a MiFi for home internet?
