I see some of you guys on King Mo. Am I missing something here? Rampage is coming off a two KO wins. His last three fights before that (losses) were Texeira, Bader and Jones. King Mo did not impress me in his last fight and no need to compare the level of competition. Are you guys expecting Mo to hold him down for three rounds?

really easy to breakdown.

rampages last 2 wins were (lets be honest) not elite competition.

no shame losing to glover. ok cool.

ryan bader, this is where it gets interesting, if mo and bader were to fight I think it would be competitive, I might even lean towards King Mo tbh.

Bader is a similar style matchup like King Mo, both athletic talented wrestlers with powerful striking.

If you discount the fact that he got caught in the first fight against newton, then king mo is essentially undefeated for the past 4 years (I think Mo deserved to win his rematch with newton)

I mean forget records, even if you look at this fight from a stylistic matchup, what is the best style to beat Rampage? A wrestler. Especially a wrestler with decent striking. Why do you think Rampage hates wrestlers so much?

And when you say level of competition, just because newton is not in the UFC does not mean he dosent deserve to be, I actually think he would do well in the UFC, as well as Zayats and of course King Mo.

Its funny, if these 2 guys were to fight no less than 3 years ago I guarantee you King Mo would have opeed up as -600.

Im not saying King Mo is a lock, this should be a close fight, but at those plus odds I do like a good 5 unit wager on Kingo Mo (would have only been 3 but I have been on a good run recently)

as i stated last night, i want to play the clippers tonight. i didnt have an opinion on the pacers/washington game but i feel like taking the pacers are a must play at +4. with miami advancing yesterday, the pacers are prob a tad desperate to end this series and get ready for miami in the next round. i think the wizards can give a good effort and i wont be surprised at all if they win this game big. however, the wizards have shown that they are a better road team than they are home team. im not as confident in this bet as i was with yesterday's bet so i wouldnt suggest tailing unless you completely, 100% agree.

I hedged on OKC straight to cover my parlay that had the clippers winning the series. Glad I did, but I would've loved to see a game 7. The Clippers blew it and there were some questionable calls by the refs. Off to cancun tomorrow on vacation, hopefully I can find a sports bet that's playing Bellator or it's the Sherdog PBP for me lol

well put, that's why i laid 1u on mo (some of which via the +368 decision line)

(goodfella broke it down nicely, too, but degen's is more concise and matches how i feel)

I'm playing Mo by decision also. If you play Mo, might as well go decision prop because I don't see Mo putting Rampage away.


The other big fight (Tito vs Schlemenko) has too many different possible outcomes to play a prop.

Schlemenko could win ITD in the third against a gassed Tito
or cruise the third round after racking up points for sticking and moving in round 1 and 2.

Tito could get a takedown and pound out a much much smaller opponent for a finish
or he could get a takedown in 2 of three 3 rounds for a decision. If Tito gets a hold of Schlemenko whether against the cage or on the ground, I don't see Schlemenko being able to free himself.

This fight could look like what Lyoto vs Bigfoot might look like.

UPDATE: Meteorite Likely Cause of Large Boom and Quake

From my area

NASA says a meteorite is likely to blame for a loud boom and ground shake felt across several West Virginia counties.

911 centers in Boone, Lincoln, and Logan counties have all received calls from people shortly after 10 p.m. who experienced the quake.

People describe the incident as a large boom that shook the foundations of their homes.

NASA says a meteorite about the size of a softball entered the atmosphere over West Virginia before landing in Tennessee.

No injuries or damage have been reported.

There are various sources indicating the meteor was seen & felt from Australia to California. HERE is a illustrated map of where it was felt.

No way Mo wins any type of striking match with Page. Mo got outstuck by Zayats and Newton twice, he also had enough trouble getting Zayats to the ground and could barely keep him there when he did, Page is way bigger and stronger than Zayats. Even Jones had trouble taking Rampage down, Rampage is a bad matchup for Mo, he's bigger, probably stronger, has a wrestling background and good TDD and a way better striker with way more power.

And Rampage was essentially outstruck by Bader when he couldn't fend off td's. For years Rampage has been slow as fuck and fighting i straight lines; just winging hooks that a blind man can see coming. There's no shame in being outstruck by Newton, he's not in the UFC obviously, but Newton is a damn good fighter; prolly the best LHW not in the UFC right now. You can slice it & dice it any way you want, but Rampage is no 2-1 favorite over Mo, and I fucking hate Mo. People are being prisoners of the moment, they're letting Rampage's prior two performance cloud their judgement.

Agree with everything you said MMAGF. At better than 2-1 odds, you have to place money on Mo here. Not to mention Rampages camp is pretty awful in comparison to Mo's new camp at ATT. I saw some footage on the Spike hype show they did about an hour ago. It showcased rampage counter wrestling some bum and then intently listening to Mayhem Miller explain how he shouldn't post his hand on the mat. LOLWUT.

Meanwhile, Mo is working on his striking with his boxing coach and he looks to be in tremendous shape. Mo is surrounded by some pretty great training partners that are pushing him to his limits. My biggest thing however, is that both these guys have talked so much shit to each other that neither wants to get KTFO. I believe Mo will play it relatively safe, fight smart, and earn a hard fought decision. I got Mo by decision at +368 and straight in some parlays. I cant justify laying the juice on a fighter who is knocking out bums who look intimidated being in the same cage as Rampage

Yep, and unlike Rampage, Mo's gonna be at the gym daily training his ass off. I agree, Mo implements a wrestling heavy attack and just wears Quinton out. At +215 I'll take my chances.

scary. baesman isn't a worldbeater. definitely passing on roberts. jardine or pass. (pass for me)

EZ, did you see Roberts last fight? It was quite possibly the most boring fight I've ever witnessed. He was either lying on Baesman or visa versa; even in the waning moments when DNR needed a finish & was on top, he laid there. No way I could EVER risk $ on this guy.

Thanks GF! Not sure if that is what I heard but when I saw your post it was awfully coincidental. I still have a mystery to solve on my end anyway. Often you hear some strange sound and naturally assume some local phenomenon is causing it then you find out it was an earthquake or something equally vast in scope. In this case perhaps a meteor.
