1u Guerrero at +225
1u Lawal by decision at +368
2u Chandler/Brooks under 2.5 rounds at -120
1u Ortiz/Shlemenko over 1.5 rounds at -160


Got some parlays going as well. I have a feeling we're gonna see some crazy upsets on this card, in regular Bellator fashion. I just wanted a little action to hold me off until UFC 173.

im liking brooklyn at +7 tonight. they are down 3-1 and as in desperation mode while miami might take it a bit easy since they have a commanding hold of the series. i wouldnt be surprised if the nets come out flat but i think aging stars like pierce and garnett dont go out without a fight. conversely, i dont like the trailblazers tonight in a game similar to the heat-nets because of the big difference in bench play and due to how much the spurs value added rest time. i think the spurs get the job done tonight. actually going to parlay the two plays together

Anyone that have done any reaserach on Ricky Rainey? Michael Page have "only" crushed cans from what I can see, sure he did look impressive but really unproven imo and are still -500.

Yeah it's pretty stupid hey? And I think there's a minimum bet of like $20 for that sort of thing as well, $20 is a pretty big bet for me.

FWIW I usually do 10-12 leg parlay bets in MMA going over several cards, trying to pick my certainties, usually doesn't profit heaps but keeps me interested. For 173 I've got Cormier and Barao, the first 4 legs were Soa Palelei from last week and Broner, Khan and Floyd from the PPV the other week.
 
F ME, i hate how random the prop releases are. would've hit tito DEC +1150.. it's now +600. sigh.

i am hitting NOT volkov ITD +145.. 1.45u. also 0.2u on rainey DEC +1000.

considering the NOT shlemenko ITD -120..
 
how could you consider not shlemenko itd?

how does this end any other way than shlemenko body shot KO?

Yea, I think Mo can beat Rampage the exact same way Bader did, with forward pressure, a lot of clinch work, and sprinkle in td's. Indeed, Rampage was injured (allegedly) for the Bader fight which may have contributed to his performance, but keep in mind that Mo is 5 x the fighter Badr is IMO especially considering the wrestling. Additionally,while the Bader fight may have been due to injury, in his Bellator debut Joey Beltran was having similar success until getting caught. It isn't as if we're taking Mo at EVENS, but instead we're getting +215.

You're starting from the POV that Tito is +100 or so; I said I would play him at +300 meaning I do think Alex wins only that I see value on Tito at those odds.

Sure, Alex is on a 13 fight win streak, but who has he beat?

Would he be on that streak had he fought even 3 of Tito's last 7 opponents? Would he have won even won 8 of 13 had he fought Titos last bakers dozen? Forrest, Bader, Machida, Evans, Lil Nog, and Hammill? What's his record coming out of here? 2-4? 3-3 at best?

They usually get frozen and unfrozen a few times during rounds for brief periods and mostly available much longer between rounds. They often were also available after the last round ended for point spread and pick the winner bets.

It's certainly not perfect, but Bookmaker and 5Dimes are the only two options we have. So as limited as it is I would be distraught if it went away.

Yea, but I'm just bitching b/c BM used to be the gold standard for livebetting, and while they're still the preeminent sports book for livebets, it is a far cry from the in-play model they used for years before tightening the noose on their configuration. What's more, I can almost pinpoint the time and date that it all changed; on one of the fights a few months back (I'd have to check to see which one) the lines were left open after the fight had already ended and ever since that day they have closed lines during rounds. They do occasionally open lines during the in-play but regardless it is still better than nothing.

So if your betting Tito @ +385 you think that Tito would win this fight more than 2 times out of 10. I think your being a bit generous here guys.

Tito is old , injured and hasn't been active in a couple of years we have no idea about his motivation at the moment. I would hazard a guess that the fighter 10 years younger holding the title is much more motivated .

Those who say "Well who has Shlemenko Beat? you are right his resume does lack a lot of wins over "Name" guys which is why I think Shlmenko called him out in the first place. Even though a win over a 2014 Tito Ortiz isn't that great it is still a mma legends name on your resume.

Ya I would have to agree with that, I think Tito gets smoked here. Size is good to have and all but the skill difference here will make up for any size advantage Tito has. Schlemenko is a very skilled striker he will find Tito's chin and body several times with kicks and punches, this guy just knows how to win fights. Even though his comp may not be the greatest when you're winning fights your confidence soars, and Schlemenko has been winning fights whereas Tito has barely been fighting and even when he has he often loses.
