Hopefully all these MMA guys like Diaz realize that if they're fighting Jake, they're fighting a guy who's a legit threat to them, not just some Youtube clown.

Yeah this is the mistake a lot of fans and maybe some fighters are making. The goofy looking Youtuber/Disney kid thing throws people off of the fact that hes been training boxing since around 2017 and is a decently athletic guy in his physical prime and probably juicing. He most likely puts more hours per week into boxing training than most if not all MMA guys do, and its pure boxing specifically for a boxing environment rather than boxing adapted towards MMA or kickboxing.

All that considered its not remotely surprising that he can do damage to a lot of MMA guys, nor is it all that impressive imho. They shouldnt take him lightly, if hes signed to fight you its because hes SUPPOSED to win.

Jake fought like masterclass. That's how you would beat silva at any time of his career. Perfect strategy. He kept the jab in Silvas face constantly and clinched at perfect moments. Truly great gameplan to keep Silva from getting into his awkward counter punching groove.

Add Jake's superior chin and power and that's all she wrote. Anderson put up a good fight but he was outmatched
