To a degree, but stuff will be a lot harder to kill. Legendary drops aren't the be-all-end all, Sacred (in nightmare) and Ancestral (in torment) Rares with 2-3 good rolls are going to be better than Legendary drops most of the time, finding a good rare with rolls that all synergize with your build is much more likely than finding a legendary that is good to go. At 85, I have 2-3 extra high rolled aspects (or items with high aspect rolls to extract) just waiting for potential upgrades, although at this point I might get 1 item every 3 days that is a minor upgrade/lateral move (with the exception of that necklace I got yesterday which I will likely never upgrade unless I find one with Movement speed instead of the reduction against burning).

yeah the problem is it seems that i’ve found the best affixes possible for my build lmao i don’t know if they can get any better. i’m also basically a one-trick pony lightning storm druid but i deal retarded damage because my affixes and aspects are so specific. my paragon nodes are all storm-boosting and willpower-adjacent. i also heal with almost every cast so i’m basically just plowing through tier 15-20 nightmare dungeons and getting jack shit for it, in comparison to what i already have. i’m sure there’s better shit out there to find, it’s just looking incredibly scarce.

i’m thinking of possibly grinding out side quests, just because the item level of drops might be tied to the quest level, which would be an improvement over the level 40-50 shit i’ve been seeing most of the time. was mainly hoping for someone to chime in with something i might be doing wrong that’s making my drops shittier <Lmaoo> i was getting amazing shit when i first jumped to WT3, i think my first two helltide chests dropped unique legendaries, one of which i still use as of right now. just been really dry since then.

and why haven't you moved up to WT4 yet then?

Have you finished collected all the renown bonuses (Paragon pts)? Have you developed your power through your paragon board? Completing those will give you a substantial power boost that will help tremendously in WT4.

I was getting amazing shit when i first jumped to WT3, i think my first two helltide chests dropped unique legendaries, one of which i still use as of right now. just been really dry since then.

The game is weird like that, I got a ilvl 818 wand at 72 not long after switching to T4 exclusively, and a near max roll Esu's and Raiment of the Infinite (my 2 BIS uniques) at 76, I still use all 3 at 85.... I was slinging a sacred legendary helmet and gloves until about 80 as nothing I found was even close in that slot (my necklace slot was also not upgraded for about as long)

Just gotta keep grinding

really struggling to find any decent loot at level 61. barely even getting legendary drops at this point, no matter the source. tree of favors, helltide chests, nightmare dungeon elites & bosses. haven’t seen a unique in probably my last 7 levels. can this be remedied by jumping to WT4?

i like the mystery chests. didn’t realize they weren’t randomized.

yeah i guess i can at least grind renown points for the time being to have something to do. just was hoping for a scale up in drops as i leveled up. i would think you’d get more legendaries at level 60 than 50, essentially. turns out that’s not really the case lol

Honestly Legendaries don't matter at all unless you need the specific Aspect they provide, which unless you have really bad luck (or you just sell the legendaries that aren't an upgrade) you should have spare items with those aspects with better rolIs than the codex.

I had 2 full tabs of Legendary items by my 60's (1 for perfect/near perfect rolls for off-specs if I ever decide to change specs, 1 for all rolls of on-spec aspects better than the codex rolls)

well aspects are really the only thing boosting my damage at this point, as my DPS is pretty optimized and i’ve had some great luck with affixes. so yeah maybe it doesn’t really matter, just looking for something to keep fighting for with this character lol again, i can always jump to a new one which wouldn’t be a bad idea, my necromancer and rogue are only about level 35-40. could also go through the campaign again. i enjoyed it.

Yes. And you should focus a bit on your paragon board for sure. At the very least unlock and use the exploit glyph (additional vulnerability damage).

Helltides is one of your highest priority. There's 4 mystery chests (2 every half hour). Use this:
Helltides.com

It shows where the chests/events are. You run back and forth from events to collect embers efficiently. Try to extend the events so the enemies just keep on coming. Don't finish the events right away. Also if it's too hard at WT4 then run helltide at WT3 to collect the embers, switch to WT4 and then run straight to the chests and collect them. A bit cheesy but do what you gotta do to get there.

- Trying to get the highest amount of damage possible
- Trying to find near perfect/perfect gear for a build
- Trying to score one of the six elusive/special uniques (I want that Harlequin)
- Theorycrafting new builds

Some people just want to continually play the game cause its fun.

Earned a chest piece yesterday that has the aspect I want on it, and has a higher power rating. Should be an easy decision to switch right?

WRONG

The chest piece I am using currently has a bunch of stat buffs that are essential for keeping my paragon buffs active.

I thought about extracting the aspect on the lv 60 chest and putting it on my existing chest, but then I wouldn't be able to use that aspect again. I do want a chest of a higher level with a roll similar to the one I'm using- then I'd consider putting the protector aspect on that.

Goddamn autism.
