No Palestinian flag shown under Belal Muhammed on UFC website

You can not protest the genocide of Palestinian people in this country, you are thrown in jail, threatened that you will never get a job, by billionaire hedge fund managers etc...i don't have a dog in the fight, but that's the reality....social media companies get banned for showing the genocide videos etc....so there you go. no business can show anything that might resemble any kind of empathy or sympathy toward these occupied genocided people..
Selective recognition of genocide for whatever strange reason

is the USA one homogenous culture? Or is it an amalgamation of everyone.
it's vegetable beef soup where the beef hates the tomatoes the tomatoes hate the potatoes and the potatoes hate everyone and god help you for even suggesting they should all act the same.

I get your point that bias exists, and also the effort to silence. But.

There were over 2,000 protests in the US last year in favor of Palestine/Gaza. Most sanctioned by universities.

NPR runs at least two Pro Palestine pieces daily on air and more on their website and they are government subsidized.
Man, I really dont want to add stress to my life by arguing with strangers over this on the internet...but i feel lie ur e agood guy, and i need to respond (vs some asshole calling me names) The protests were not "sanctioned" by colleges..they allowed it, as they would/should allow any gathering - first amendment and all.....once they got the pressure from their donors, they cracked down big with law enforcement (I was at Columbia during that time, btw)...some international students were deported as well...3 top colleges's presidents were fired for allowing "antisemitism" on their college campuses
NPR did not run "Pro Palestine" pieces...just giving a somewhat real count (as reported by Euro Med monitor) of people being murdered is not "Pro Palestine". NPR/PBS gets 1% of their funding from the Federal Govt...Do you know how worth of bombs Israel got from Biden to bomb the civilian population...its in billions....
And while we are arguing about it:, medicare.medicaid, snap food programs just got cut for our own people here. (assuming u're american too)
fuck of all this man, we don't need to fight, we should see the humanity of each other and unite

The UFC is owned by the guys bombing Gaza right at this moment, so don't expect them to allow a Palestinian flag on their website. Anyway...

Fuck Israel, they stole other peoples land 70 years ago and get mad when the grandsons of the original owners of the place keep punching them in the mouth. And Fuck the palestinians, baby killers can go to hell and nobody should give a fuck about it.

The best outcome for this stupidity would be if both parties disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Not enough people have this attitude lol but this boy speaks sense.

Burn. Let them burn.

Real question is whether Bryce Mitchell will be allowed to have a Nazi flag
Just for the record i kinda see bryce point on prime hitler! Think about it America fought hitler when he was washed up.
The russians only beat hitler because they were weight bullies. Hitlers 1st round stoppage of france is impressive.

Don't Stress Bro !!!

Thanks for taking the time to make a thoughtful response.

I'm all for Belal having his flag on his UFC media and on his back after he defends his belt.

I would say let's take it to the War Room... But I never go there.

Cheers.

It's because the US is owned by Israel. They have you guys by the balls. How come the MAGA guys barely speak out about it? Simps, thats why. I respect the likes of Jake Shields and Candace Owens, true patriots.

It is an amalgamation, i.e. melting pot" analogy.

I personally think that he should rep the US or move. It's Janus faced to do otherwise. He derives his nourishment from the American teat, and in turn produces for the US. That said, I can see why he would want to emphasize his Palestinian roots, considering how many different groups are trying to stomp them out.

Well said, and yes, context matters.
UFC generally lets their fighters (or at least they did in the past) represent whatever country they want (recently, see: Kumshot). I don't like Halal Mustafa much, but it's complete weak sauce from the UFC to "censor" his support of a country that's getting violently sodomized and having genocide committed upon it by (other) religious extremists, funded by the US. So fair enough that he's not flexing the US flag, and shame on UFC and their "free speech" for not letting him rep the Palestinian flag. Hypocrites.

And then, on the other side of the spectrum, you have turds like Paddy the Baddy getting pissy at some Middle Eastern fighter wanting to rep the English flag, because "he's not from here" . . .even though he lived and trained in the UK, and wanted to rep it.
