Law No more nationwide injunctions from district judges

It took me a little while to understand what exactly is going on. You and @BFoe laid it out. These people want a King. They want the executive to have absolute power and that is so antithetical to what America is.

So a court in say Alabama could rule all of Bidens pardons or past executive orders are null because they can't prove he signed them and that should be enforced.

This doesn't just apply to Trump. It applies to however is in the white house.

The republicans can't judge Shop and get this stopped in the entire nation when a democrat is president.

The Republicans CAN judge shop... at the SC level, essentially

An ungodly amount of "time outs", which effectively makes the Presidential position pointless.
An ungodly amount of "time outs" because of an ungodly amount of unlegislated laws given out by the president.

And they abused the fuck out of it. They essentially act as the President. Fuck that. Nobody elected them.
President doesn't makes laws, Congress does.

I know what the 10th is. No state has the right to rule over another state.
District judges are federal, appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate, they have nothing to do with States.

The over reach is a state or district ruling and enforce it on all the other states and districts.
An injuction is not a ruling, and the injuction is a time out against FEDERAL executive orders.

The citizens have redress starting in their state and that doesn't apply out of the district or state.
Cool, but this is 100% a matter of federal governance not States

The congress and each state and/or the Supreme Court can rule and control that.
Cool, and where does that leaves the citizen? the individual? the very basis of the Bill of Rights?

Congress can in fact pass laws to severely limit executive orders if they want. They can even over ride a presidents veto and pass laws on it.
They did pass laws, its called the Bill of Rights and nowhere in the Bill of Rights does it says that the president can ignore it if Congress sits on its ass.

Worker's rights. A fairer taxation. A more focused effort on preserving our lands. @Deorum A pushback on corporate interests. That last one needs to be cleaned up on both sides. However, it was the right that got Citizen's United past the SCOTUS. I just don't see it, Rob. I appreciate your honest discussion with me. I'd share a beer anytime.
Same. I will absolutely say this public land sale aspect of the BBB is disgusting. Hopefully it gets taken out.

What the GOP has attempted to do in regards to them is just absolutely sickening, but hardly surprising. They've held a position of hostility for almost half a century now. Also, Fuck Mike Lee.

The entire agenda of the GOP is awful. They are cutting services across the board. I know you lean conservative, but we need you people to stand up to these idiots. They aren't ours! You have a whole team of cult members that will do and say whatever he wants.

They are yours. Deal with it.

District judges are limited to the district they are appointed for.

The injunctions would be for their district.

Any citizen can file or get their congress person to file.

Then congress can like i said restrict what executive orders can be issued if they want to pass a bill.

I don’t necessarily take a rightist positions I just dislike the cultural positions of the left tbh
I'd settle for their near complete absence of logic and common sense if they would stop offering me some of their worst candidates.

I'm in Florida so I was shamed for not punching up against white supremacy by backing an obvious crook/swindler and one of the worst of all of our former governors who is an ex-Republican neocon con-artist who clearly flipped to the left because he lost any/all hope of ever getting financial support from the right.

That's just on the state level. Nationally they gave me a completely bogus dimwitted dullard who looks like her only quality is fundraising and hobnobbing with the owner donor class while telling me about her middle class upbringing?
along with and an old, rich, white, lying, racist, sexist, not to mention unlikeable af geriatric, an obvious puppet with dementia and a crackhead son as his consiglieri.

Lol at epidemic. Now who's exaggerating?

I wasn't, it was a joke. But you clearly didn't have time because I asked you yesterday lol.

Ahem, Kirk is generally careful with his words and tries not to say anything absolutely heinous. However, he has made many many many claims over the years that paint a clear picture of how he views people who are not white or Christian.

Kirk frequently comments that his immediate assumption of black people in high skill occupations is that they are unqualified. Most notably he said he would not want to be treated by a black lesbian surgeon. If he were to fly on a plane with a black pilot he'd "hope that they are qualified" when asked if he'd have that concern with a white pilot he said no.

He has baslelessly slandered MLK and his contribution to the civil rights movement on multiple occasions.

Kirk has been openly against the civil rights act. Additionally he has been openly against celebrations like Juneteenth, and MLK day. Claiming that they are all anti American despite them representing huge landmarks in equality.

He's been called out on claiming false crime statistics multiple times.

His criticism of Muslims is frequently called out for being extreme and bigoted. He takes a hard stance that no community could improve with the introduction of Muslims.

He recently made a slew of comments about NYC new Mayor with the center of all of his criticism being that he is Muslim. He makes a 9/11 comment comparing the new mayor to terrorists. And calls all whites who support him "self hating".

That's off the top of the dome while im in-between flights
Off the top of your ChatGPT dome you mean?

I need specific quotes. Kirk can be a bit too traditional and religious for my takes, but there's been many exaggerations about how "racist" he is. There's numerous examples of people saying he's racist and then he asks them to tell him what racist things he said. That's when they fall apart.

Never used it. Refuse to rely on trash AI.

I gave you numerous specific examples, not just general "oh he said a mean thing about a black person once". I even gave categorized them so they'd be easier for you to seach and confirm.

If you don't want to believe it, you can just say that.

"If I see a Black pilot, I'm gonna be like 'boy, I hope he is qualified,'"

"Despite Kirk trying to justify his comments as being a product of the policies of other people, he made a similar statement during the show in which he said he wouldn't want a Black, lesbian surgeon."

(All as i posted previously)

Kirk himself highlights that he believes Muslims are the problem making countries worse

And for the record, fuck you for making wreck my seach algorithm and listen to him.

Anything is possible but the cure is not to give local judges power over the entire nation. That goes directly against the 10th amendment and is an large over reach. If congress wants they can make laws to limit the president's executive orders. The Supreme Court can hold an emergency session anytime. So any person including a congress person can file to stop any actions by the president.
1. Regarding emergency SCOTUS sessions, a case has to get there first. There’s only so much that they have original jurisdiction over, the rest of the cases are heard on appeal. That takes a significant amount of time.

2. Unfortunately, passing laws isn’t the greatest remedy because a bill can’t become a law until it’s signed by the very guy that Congress is trying to reign in. It’s very difficult to get the numbers to override that and very difficult to get the numbers to impeach.

The only good thing about Trump I can think of is that he’s like a hacker that has shown us the vulnerabilities in our institutions. Sadly that is only helpful if we commit to fixing it, but half the country won’t want to. Why would they, when they can just exploit it for their own benefit?

You and the democrats want that when you want one state or district to rule over the entire country.
It’s not about that at all. Where the lawsuit is filed is irrelevant, the point is that the harm that’s being caused by the EO affects citizens all over the country, in all 50 states. What sense does it make to have a person not be considered a US citizen in one state but would be a US citizen if they lived in the next state over? We want a reality where families pack up their shit and flee to another state to avoid deportation?

Kirk has expanded on this multiple times. You're intentionally leaving out the context of his comments being based on DEI initiatives. He's had to reiterate this several times when he does debates.

Islam isn't a race.

Not liking something Kirk says about race doesn't automatically make him racist. He makes informed comments on race and can cite all of his sources.

Yet his issues are always specificly with minorities benefiting from DEI and not whites lol. But yes, years of making false claims, attacking minorities, and calling the civil rights movement un-American is very indicative of liking minorities lol
Islam isn't a race.
Which is why the comment was about bigotry as well, which you acknowledged. But play dumb I guess

Me liking it or not has nothing to do with the fact that it's racist lol. And he in fact cannot cite his sources. His claims are almost entirely based on his evangelical beliefs and his personal morals. He consistently gets corrected when he drifts from that. Notably he frequently makes statistically false claims about minority incarnation and crime rates

Get ready to see Pete as the next candidate. The homosexual failed mayor whose major accomplishment as transportation secretary was wasting billions on charging stations and explaining that our road infrastructure is racist. Oh, and the major train wrecks.

Doesn't he have like 0% support among black voters?

It’s between him, Shapiro and Kelly. I think Shapiro gets it and we get our first Jewish president. I mean our first outright Jewish one not ones owned by the Jews.
