Schools are transitioning kids without parental consent (or even knowledge) in some cases.

Whether I agree with the parents or not, it is NOT the state's job to provide moral guidance to kids or push their moral positions on kids.

This has become like a religion- educators think they're justified in leaving parents out of the loop because they are "saving the souls of children" from the bad beliefs of parents, which is absolutely bonkers; to say that isn't their place is a huge understatement. Like they are the anointed ones- the saviors of all children, and only their beliefs matter.

US kids' school performance in major subjects has decreased consistently since 2016, well before Covid (which everyone likes to blame for kids doing bad in school). Getting politics out of schools would be a good place to start improving that, focusing on fundamentals.

This is all pushed by drug and insurance companies. Getting kids on antidepressants and hormone therapies are lifelong businesses. Any healthcare provider working for a corporate organization (most of us) are required to address PHQ-9’s at every visit. To what end? To prescribe SSRI’s. All insurances cover them, but do you know what doesn’t get covered nearly as well? Visits to a therapist.

As a doctor I warn most of my patients that the medical industry is usually trying to scam you.

One of the funniest of some of the excesses of left-wing identity politics is the same folks that became pronoun champions and very enthusiastic about calling people the way they want to be called very overzealously use the terms CIS and latinx that it appears pretty much nobody that's in those groups want to be called.

So the message is basically "we have words for you we get to use whether you like it or not, but you must call us by the terms we want". The complete lack of self-awareness is amazing.

I wish this type of stuff was just an outlier on the left, unfortunately this is not the case. Such a turn off.

The pronoun thing is just another project by the left to create social conflict. They want as much drama and infighting as possible to disrupt our society so they can have power. There is no good reason why anyone should have personal pronouns,. And more importantly why others should be enslaved to keep track of the pronouns that weirdo activists insist on using. It's an excuse for immature and mentally ill people to throw a temper tantrum and accrue victim points while harassing normal productive people.
