Failed is probably too much but honestly, being mayor of such a small city you can’t really do anything majorly good or bad unless you truly F up. His lack of trust with the black community complete stems from his time as mayor.

His time as transportation secretary was poor. FAA outages, major train derailments/poor responses, supply chain disruptions… just a lot to show where he came up short in his only real time in the big show — if you can even call transportation secretary the big show.

He talks well but is as much of a corporate product as Sabrina Carpenter.

Of the three top candidates, Shapiro is an A, Kelly is a C- and Pete is a F in terms of their chances to win the WH.

My prediction will be Vance v Shapiro likely with Shapiro winning.
