Ngannou s striking is trash

Gane turned Ngannou a wrestler.

It should also be noted Ngannou was outwrestled during every single exchange during the first two rounds, when both guys had full gas tanks. Francis only started outwrestling Gane after he slammed him to the ground and seemingly broke his leg. Props to Ngannou for that but Francis demonstrated he is worse in every single facet of MMA.

Ngannou lost the first two rounds on two judges scorecards.
Wow. You aren't a genius

So this is Ngannou's fangirls excuse for why Gane turned him into a wrestler. Gane took all of Ngannous best shots and pieced him up on the feet, but it was all because of Francis's supposedly torn MCL?

<45>

Since Ciryl broke his foot in the third round after being slammed and still was able to take down Francis in the fifth round when the fight was on the line and win the battle for top control is he now a better wrestler than Ngannou?

Cant have it both ways.
You said gane is a better fighter, though he lost the last three rounds and the fight. Can't have both.

Um all Gane did was slap him on the leg with his foot, and maybe one good jab.
Seriously

Gane stalled out the striking, and Ngannou stalled out the grappling. Neither guy wanted to engage, or couldn't due to the other guy neutralizing his opponent

At the highest level like this it's bound to happen

Of all the Ngannou haters in here, you are literally the worst one. Just boring and spineless. If you're going with a shtick atleast be creative in it.

And still.

If by spineless you mean the only one who has the spine to say what actually occurred in the fight instead of what Joe Rogan and DC were saying sure.

Ciryl Gane turned Francis Ngannou into a wrestler and outwrestled him when the fight was on the line in the fifth round. Gane lost the fight because he gave the fight away dropping down for that sub attempt he could have L&Ped his way to victory as Ngannou did.

Also, I am not an Ngannou hater, just not a fan of how he has handled himself. He took out his frustration over his tumultuous relationship with the UFC on Gane in the lead-up to the fight.

Bigger cage also results in less clashing and banging at higher weight classes.

Ngannou got beat-up on the feet, he had nothing for Gane, and was turned into a wrestler.

Yeah, well, Gane had two rounds to really lay something heavy, and he couldn’t. The takedowns way later in the fight is just a smart move by the champion.

Agreed, but Gane took Ngannou down when the fight was on the line in the fifth round and had him beat dead to rights. Had Gane not dropped back for the submission attempt he would have been able to L&P his way to victory as Ngannou did.

That doesn't mitigate Ngannou's win in any way, he was down two rounds to nothing, and won the final three rounds; but some Ngannou fans do not want to admit their guy was pieced up on the feet and lost the wrestling exchange when the fight was on the line.

He's still the champion. No matter how you spin it, doesn't matter how much you rooted for Gane, he failed you.

Keep on hating

I am not hating. The only one hating are Francine fangirls on Gane who pieced up the man with supposedly more knockout power than Deontay Wilder on the feet.

Ciryl Gane turned Francis Ngannou, the self proclaimed greatest knockout artist in the world, into a wrestler and those are the facts.

Gane did not "let me down", he made mistakes, but he confirmed what I said all along which was that Ngannou could not knock him out. I never thought Ngannou could win a decision but he showed he could and thats why he is still champ (for now).

Fan girl? Do you need a hug? <Lmaoo>

I'm guessing Francis having more MMA training/experience and a higher fight IQ had nothing to do with him mixing up the grappling and coming back from losing the first two rounds.

Sure Ciryl may have better technical striking but he got owned my Francis on the ground which IMHO is more embarrassing.

After This slam?

Help show me where he broke his foot/leg. I'm an old man and my eyes are a bad.

He's bouncing up and down and in and out with a broken foot/leg? Let me guess its called adrenaline. What a warrior! Re watch the 4th round here:

Why are you making excuses for Ciryl?

Jesus christ, that was the bigger cage??

I didnt even realize because of how massive Ngannou and Gane are.

I was saying to my brother, is it possible to be impressed by something you found to be utterly boring? Like, yeah the fight kinda stunk, but on a different level, it's insane that these dudes are even able to neutralize each other the way that they did. To possess that much mass AND fighting ability is seriously awe inspiring

I suspect that dude is Ferdinand. His dedication to shit posting about Francis is bizarre and borderline obsessive.

Man, it takes some serious mental gymnastics to some how twist the champ clearly winning 3 and the fight into a “NGannou sucks and Gane is better” thread.

FrAnCiS wReStLeD bEcAuSe hE wAs ScUrReD

oh yeah? Scared of what exactly. Gane didn’t show much to be afraid of.

Gane was outstriking N'Gannou but he wasn't doing damage. Every time N'Gannou got tagged he made an angry face and started swinging, and Gane would immediately retreat to safety

N'Gannou and his corner knew they were getting slowly outpointed and they adjusted extremely well. He's clearly been working a lot on other parts of his game.

N'Gannou isn't a great wrestler but he showed that he's better than Gane, and where he lacks skill he makes up for it in raw strength and determination

Gane is still a better kickboxer but now we know that N'Gannou is a better grappler, and did better at adapting his gameplan during the fight

Fury literally just offered Francis a fight you fucking knob.
Lol yeah I'm sure that was a genuine offer. Instead of trying to unify the belts or face a mandatory contender he's going to face a guy who to be honest hasn't shown he's a major draw and had to resort to lay and pray to beat an MMA fighter. Not happening. Beating Ngannou does nigh on if not actually nothing for Fury, he'd get paid more to fight Whyte let alone Joshua or Usyk.

Lastly let say's there's even a tiny chance it's actually a legit option for Fury, which as I've said I highly doubt, Ngannou would end up getting something less than 10 percent of the split, Ngannou would likely make $2-3 million tops.
