I've never been in the situation where I felt threatened by a woman. During the course of my marriage there were a few times where the wife and I would get into an argument and she would get physical and me just restrain her. If I wanted to I could have broken her jaw and knocked all of her teeth out. There's just different levels.

She was pushing and grabbing something off of him which is robbery I understand. His use of force was excessive. You have to remain responsible in the force used in self-defense.

Misdemeanor in most cases but I would take it.. Especially with a crowd of people shoving me and threatening me? At some point its go time. I've been in a few of these types and managed to escape by the skin of my teeth.

I agree depending on the situation. Your wife is different then a strange female.

My basic belief is i leave people alone and I expect the same.

But you're in a crowd of people that includes men around I'm not taking many chances and he was already assaulted. I will take my chances that the law will see my side.... again providing we are discussing man vs man.

Where did i say it was. I taught self-defense for a very long and this is where the force continuum is taught. I thought you had some kind of security job at one time. They didn't teach force continuum. Ive performed security work and had to deal with some "difficult" females
