It was an intervention. I was concerned that Calvus is turning into one of these wannabe gangster kids that hangs out on street corners intimidating people of twice their age.

Great workout today! 12x330 is a big Rep PR!! The closest thing I've ever done to this was 7x315 back in December and 12x305 in January. I really feel like my squats have gotten stronger & that's just going to translate directly into more all-around awesomeness in every aspect of my life. I expect to see a huge improvement in my Karaoke this weekend, for example.

And in other news, Bulgarian Split Squats are hard :(
 
If you can squat 330 for 12 then you're going to completely donkey fuck karaoke. You'll be pulling off duets by yourself. What do you attribute the big surge in squatting to?
 
Squats are effective karaoke assistance.

Thanks - I think my squatting started to take off when I started squatting 3x a week. Even though 2 of the days were really light, it still helped a ton. Since January I've been squatting twice a week, but it's still way better than once a week. Maybe twice as good.
