BJJ - 2 Hours
Great training tonight! 1 Hours Advanced class + 1 Hour sparring. In class we worked on a 1 arm hip toss, and then from the guard worked on a dual attack from mount. Work for choke & depending on opponents reaction, either finish the choke or armbar. Nice detail for me is getting the knee up behind the shoulder when the guy bridges.
When sparring I rolled with a black belt twice, 1 purple belt twice, another purple belt once & a couple of blue belts. Each round was 6-7 minutes, short breaks (1-2 minutes). I did well & more importantly, really felt like my game made some big improvements. I was more relaxed, got my hands in better positions, got out of bad positions, did small things to control my opponents, etc...lots of improvements tonight all of a sudden. Both instructors commented to me that my jiu-jitsu looked much improved tonight, so that made me feel better. I'm exhausted....but it was a great night!
