News McGregor back in court

I'm hearing all this in the case about... she's seen in the lift at this time n that time and they're referring to the afternoon. But in the initial report in Irish papers etc. it was said she said it happened like midnight-3am like early morning... so what if all this footage they're looking at is irrelevant and happened before the incident, not after it... and she's got the times wrong here.

I like midget bikers too. They’re a little wilder than you might expect.

Does anyone know if there's any evidence out there that he attempted to pay this woman off? I have seen more than one person state she refused the money he offered her because she's determined to expose him

I have just read the paramedics account
Absolutely disgusting how this wasn't treated as a crime

Apparently they said she was heavily bruised all over, extremely shaky and vomiting. Also she had great concern with the tampon that was pushed right in

I didn't share, but it's easily found on Google news if you type his name

It's horrific reading. I detest that guy so much
If he had an ounce of decency and wanted to make some sort of amends, he should admit his crime and go on proper trial were he admits his guilt

If it was any normal bloke, they would already be rotting in some protection wing cell for a number of years

Just another member of the celebrity club that is above the law

Stuff from today

"The first witness this morning is paramedic Neil Dempsey from Dublin Fire Brigade.

He describes going to a house in Drimnagh in Dublin, on 10 December 2018 at around 8.41am.

He said the woman was very distressed and had physical marks on her. The woman said she had been sexually assaulted. And she was concerned about a tampon she had inside her, which had been there for some time.

He describes that her heart rate was elevated. And he says she was told they would be taking her by ambulance to the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit in the Rotunda Hospital

She had some nature of a panic attack on the way to hospital, he says.

They arrived at the hospital at 9.20am

Footage from the ambulance journey is now being played to the jury."

"
Nikita Hand leaves court as the footage showing her inside the ambulance on the morning of 10 December 2018 is shown.

The footage shows Ms Hand in pyjamas lying down on a trolley in the ambulance. A blood pressure monitor is placed on her.

The jury can also see Ms Hand and paramedic Eithne Scully pulling down her pyjama bottoms to examine her lower limbs.

Bruising can be clearly seen on her thighs as Senior Counsel, Ray Boland for Ms Hand, points out.

A garda also enters the ambulance while Ms Hand is lying on the trolley as well as Ms Hand's mother, Debbie.

The footage also shows Ms Hand getting more distressed on the way to the hospital and having a panic attack. She sits up and is comforted by her mother and paramedic, Neil Dempsey.

She was mainly worried about the tampon inside her, Mr Dempsey says, and the pain that she had "down in that area"."

"
The court now hearing from paramedic, Eithne Scully. She describes Ms Hand as very withdrawn, agitated and upset.

She says Ms Hand's chief concern was about a tampon that had been pushed up way too far. Ms Scully says Ms Hand had a small cut on her chin and she saw some bruising around her lower neck.

She says when she examined Ms Hand she saw she had bruising around her chest, around her neck down to her legs.

She says she hadn't seen someone so bruised in a long time.

She agrees she has been to many call outs but hadn't seen anyone so intensely with that amount of bruises.

She says Ms Hand told her she had been grabbed around the neck, there was something about fighting someone off and there was a threat made to her."

Yeah I don't know how reliable but I remember reading in Irish papers around the time he tried to pay her off with 1 million euros behind the scenes, and she refused it. And that's when she was still pursuing criminal charges, so anyone saying she's just after money or concocting all this for money... well why would she reject money and pursue criminal :/ there's only 1 reason why.

She's only pursuing civil now bc the DPP declined to go ahead with prosecuting. They really let her down here.

He's cooked after today. Wonder how much mainstream attention this will get when the verdict arrives because it's not really garnering much atm.

Do we know what the eventual outcome is going to be for the woman in question? Is it just money she's going to be given?

Surely the DPP will be under huge pressure to reopen the case and prosecute criminally

You don't really see conrad in court and all other cases were mysteriously dropped. She probably didn't accepted money.

Found the article relating to her refusing money. Doesn't name him directly but it's pretty clear who they are referring too. For some reason i don't think this will be brought up in court though nor will the home break in but why? Surely they're of relevance?

Honestly, this and the doctor's testimony should suffice. And there's people here that think because there is footage of her in a lift with Lawrence and going in and out of the hotel that somehow erased this.

I will ask again jic:

Does anyone know if it is possible to open a criminal case against Conor, if he gets convicted here?

There has to be. Don't cases get reopened all the time? There will def be pressure put on the DPP to review it

I would hope so. Then again, tomorrow begins his defense. And I'm sure Conor has lawyered up to break the woman in court.
