May Challenge: Standard's 3 mins of fun

Did 45lbs X 55
Did it 10 right 10 left 10 right 10 left 10 right 5 left before the time ran out.
Next time I think I'll max out right before switching to left.

50 lb x 60

JRT6/4095

65lbs for 63 reps. This attempt was a lot easier than the first one.

I was struggling with my form on my last attempt and had to redo a couple reps. You're safe from me Finn, again, but not the next time.

Drop the weight to 55 and give it another go. See if my rep scheme helps too. Doing em for 20 reps on each arm gives the first arm time to recover. Easy way to get 40+ reps out of the gate in the first minute.

I've thought about lowering the weight and will give it a go as this challenge is a great warmup for my regular workout and fits the bill of my new "power training" workout where you have to start each session with an "explosive" lift.

The reason I used 65lbs was because two 25's, and collars on my olympic handle came in about that weight. (I have a couple of those one pound magnent weights that I use to get the weights to a rounded number).

Somewhat more respectable this time...

26kg DB x 70 = 4012

Went 20/20/10/10/5/5 with a couple of breathers.

I've been waiting for you to do this one. I still have to beat you in the 100 snatch challenge again, don't I?

Damnit I'm not settling for anything less than 2nd place looser. I'm taking Finn's advice and am going to lighten the weight. This is going to be an interesting thread for the next 12 days.
