May Challenge: Standard's 3 mins of fun

Banned members shouldn't count on the leaderboard.
Make it happen.

Just a question Standard, if you post a better score shouldn't it replace your old one?

Naw leave the old score, it's to shame people like me :) Plus it makes the old guys like bubbles feel better.

Ok did it again 55lbs X 50 reps 2750.
Was 15 right 10 left 10 right 10 left 5 right. I'm going to try and break 3k by the end of the month.

Tried it yesterday and got 2090. Will come over 3000 by the end of the month. That's a promise.

Also promise to put it in the right format for me

I did 45 lb bar 65x, thought i could bang out more reps, will go up in weight next time

Pasted from my log:

May Challenge: Snatch volume in 3 minutes
35lb dumbbellx87 reps=3045 lbs.

Evaluation: Felt solid, especially considering the PR deads and front squats before hand. Conditioning was not a factor, I just wasn't snatching as fast I'd have liked too. Fast, high-rep snatching just isn't my thing, but I think I'll manage 100 reps next time. I think I picked a good weight. Also, I came to the floor on each rep, hang snatches and cleans just don't feel comfortable for me. I should work on that.

You missed me in the update Standard. I'll post it again.

50lbs dumbell x 75 reps = 3750

I tried going down to 45lbs and it didn't work for me.

RollinDownRodeo/3150

I used a 45 lb db this time. On to 55lbs next time.

So I realized today that I forgot to add in the weight of the db bar (7.5lbs) to my total last time which is a nice surprise I guess. I added 5lbs in plates this week. I'll knock this out one more time next week and keep the weight the same and try to increase the reps. I'm definitely breaking 4k next time.

57.5lbs x 69 reps = 3,967.5
