If someone has been committed to a mental health facility, and self-reports he is hearing voices telling him to shoot a place up, then I think there is sufficient cause to deprive that individual of his 2nd Amendment rights:

The police should not be able to just take your guns without some kind of court order.

I support taking guns when there is a threat but but it must be by court order not because a cop going on just the word of someone decides to.

Those mass shooting started a couple of years ago.
In Brazil they will never occour in schools or children cares at favelas, because the criminals would kills the shooter. So they choose more urban areas, sually more calm places. Last time theguy killed several children/teens, but a cop detained him.

No one worries about a fire in a furnace. Weekly shootings in Chicago are the result of a chosen culture of the people in that area, it's not an anomaly. What happened in Maine is not par for the course. Why do you race bait ? As a person of color myself, I do see a big difference between gang violence and mass shootings - especially since most gang violence is gang on gang. Do innocents perish in that ? Yes - and that is horrific and every innocent life is equal to another - black or white. That doesn't change the fact circumstances and environments matter. If a wild dog is killed by a pack of wolves somewhere, it's not the same as someone's pet being killed.
