Crime Maine shooting - 18 dead

Knowing cowards like this, this bozo could have ended himself somewhere and the cops are only going to find a body.

If he is alive and running, I hope he catches a bullet. Undeserving of life.

It's what, like 90 minutes down 95 to get to the border from Lewiston? If he has transportation and gets toward Boston he could cause mass trouble down there (yeah yeah, Mass trouble derp). Troubling even thinking about him making his way from the wilderness to the relatively densely populated NH seacoast.

Eh, small towns don't quite work like that, even at the 10k population level. Especially when there's a big private university and tons of temporary residents and visitors.

That was the dumbest press conference I’ve seen in a while. Nothing of substance put out.

My town has a sewing circle of bored housewives on a local Facebook page; we are similar sized population. Literally nothing goes down here without chatter and gossip making the rounds.
 
if he's not found in another day, he's being hidden by friends.

You usually won't get much out of those, especially if the manhunt is still ongoing. They will confirm the shooter's identity and the number of dead, but they won't say where they're searching and what resources they are being allocated to do so. Some of the helicopters on the flight trackers have been circling greenhouses. Theory is, that would be a good place to hide your heat signature from the choppers looking for you. I don't know how much truth there is to that though.

How long should the country need to grieve before talking about gun control? There are more mass shootings (where 4 or more people are killed via gun) per year than there are days in a year. The country can't afford to wait even a day to grieve before being able to talk about it otherwise nothing about it will get done
