I'll be interested to hear why he was scrubbed from the internet... From Brown's website and Social Media accounts. If they even talk about it. They probably won't
Maybe he was considered a suspect at some point and discounted? If the authorities and Brown were trying to protect the guy by scrubbing him and then refusing to mention, it certainly backfired... They made it worse.
Should have just said he was looked at and ruled out as suspect because he was verified to be... blah, blah, blah. It didn't help that he matched the fat shooter's physical description
Then that Senator scolded everyone... "The Public needs to stop helping find a suspect!!!" and then immediately after posted a picture that said "We're asking the Public for help in identifying this suspect"... lol
That was definitely an interesting sub-plot for day
The school gave an explanation why he was scrubbed. Here is an article about it. This thread is a prime example of why they did it.
“In the aftermath of the shooting, we’ve seen harmful doxxing activity directed toward at least one member of the Brown University community,” school spokesperson Brian Clark said in a statement.
Brown University warns against ‘harmful doxxing’ amid search for gunman
Brown University is urging everyone to refrain from “harmful doxxing activity” as the search for the gunman who killed two students and injured nine others over the weekend continues.
