Yesterday was pretty phenomenal. Everything felt easy, and ready for progression. I'm in love with pressing, which is saying a lot, because I used to hate it.

You lift at an oly gym right? Do you get stink eyes when you do PL lifts?
Indoor Rock Climbing
-1 hour, it was pretty fun, but I managed to tear two callouses on my left hand and cut one of my fingers on my right hand. Hopefully it won't interfere with lifting.
Hey dude, nice to see you're climbing a bit! It does fuck up your callouses but I doubt it would intefere with your lifting (besides messing up your hands a bit). At least I have never noticed any changes. Do you use chalk when you climb? And where are you from again? I forget...
Yeah I like climbing even though I have only done it 3 or 4 times so far. I'm hoping to do some in Ireland when I'm studying abroad this summer (20 days to go!). I did use a lot of chalk when I was climbing today. I was under the impression that should lessen the chances of my callouses ripping? I'm from Georgia, dunno what the climbing is like around here.
Ohh yeah that's cool! That's exciting about Ireland!
I always use chalk and my hands still get fucked up but I slip a lot less preventing even worse damage. There's something called "Climb On" which is really good for healing hands quickly. I live in like rock climbing central during the school year so its easy to find...I know next to nothing about climbing in Georgia though!
That's why I love having weights in my garage. And a cellphone, so I can call my buddies who have weights in their garage so I can train when my gym is closed.
J/k you're not nearly cool enough to train in my garage. :icon_lol:
