Hes going to get cut a lot faster than NGannou. UFC has made their position on this clear for a long time. They only negotiate with superstars. That would be Clonor, Ronda, Lesnar, and somewhat with Jones and GSP. If he doesn't sign the contract then I predict he will be cut and bald goof will do his usual "this guy doesn't want to fight, we want guys who want to fight".
Obviously goof can get this fight signed if he pays Leon more money. It's ALWAYS about the money.

im not sure why Colby “doesn’t deserve it” when he was out for legit reasons, and Masvidal does.
masvidal has also been just as inactive as Colby and has a more losing record too.
Seems pretty cherry picky to me.

I don't know why Colby is even in the discussion. He's been inactive more than 12 months now, he should be unranked due to inactivity, and he's 3-2 over the last four years. If he wants a shot, maybe come out of retirement and get a top 10 win first.

I like Leon, an he needs to call someone out and not just complain about Colby.
Some suggestions:
he can call out wonder boy for “best striker”
call out Belal “for unfinished business”
I hate this by call out Masvidal “for both BMF and WW title on the line - champ vs BMF
call out Shavkat - someone’s streak has to be broken.
Invite Islam for champ champ fight
I hope Leon and team don’t stop at “no I won’t sign a Colby contract” and leave it there. At least give alternatives that the public will be excited for. That’s the angle I’d suggest.

Leon needs to call out Belal non stop and make the spotlight go there rather than having the public focus on “Leon is ducking Colby- Leon is being a diva - Leon is cherry picking - Leon is afraid to face Colby. Divert the attention to a match up with Belal and make tons of noise to drown out the talk of Colby

Agreed. Belal fucked up a bit with his reply. He tried to play the race card when it wasn’t needed. He said Colby is getting the shot because he’s white. The crazy thing is Leon probably matches up with Colby better about now. Colby is a smaller version of Usman and has ring rust.

Agreed with your postal correspondence with Warrior, Leon needs people and reasons. If just add that, if he does go with the reason of "I want the money fight," then that's really the only window that Mas does make sense over Colby.
