Mad how people forget how good this guy is he had an off night yes i do believe the uk time effected him he looked very flat he did have belal on his back at the end of that fight and cut him up dont forget prob the most damage of the fight, surely one win hes got a title shot

If u remember after the Belal fight, Leon said he wanted to fight again before the end of the year. He wanted to get back in the cage asap. Trying to think of an opponent that would make sense, Brady or JDM?

As much as I don’t think it’s a great excuse and his team should have prepared for it, whilst the fight was in the Uk they fought on US time did they not? Belal’s prep of training in the US, then flying in a few days before and staying on US time probably helped him in his preparation for the fight

And he's forgotten because he simply was never an active fighter the guy needs a whole 6 months to plan and train for a fight.. belal faught more than he does.

And no I don't mean to hate on him I like the guys fights but I've never Ben waiting to see one because he's just never around to fight

He was tho. He lost to Usman in 2015 and lost this year. Almost 10 years undefeated.

Imo, Usman came back way too early for the trilogy. Leon is 2-1 but prime for prime, I'd bet good money on Usman winning the majority of times.

I don't remember it that well, but I think Leon sat back and accepted 4 rounds of losing to Belal before actually kicking things into gear round 5. Could be wrong on that though.

He won 2 rounds imo.

But lack of urgency is a different issue to lack of heart in my mind.
