I don't know if I've been here too long or what, but casuals used to really skip over skillset alot more. Like back 10+ years ago, you had more fighters with true missing deficiencies and a casual would choose the popular fighter like today, but now with more well rounded fighters, you see the hardcore fans make the same mistakes. Hell I've had my fair share. Guess I've softened on bad predictions as a barometer for being a casual or not.
What gets me mad isn't just casuals, and it's been going on forever, is how many people will rate fighters convenient to whatever fighter they like or hate. Rate fighters they like with skills they never shown or ones they don't rate skills worse than they actually are. Wish we could've held on to what Japan had for Pride fighters, win or lose, they celebrated the challenge of a fight and showed all combatants respect for the fight.
