As incredible a comeback and KO the head kick was Leon for 90% of his career was a boring, low volume, risk averse decision machine. It's easy to forget those kinds of fighters. After the head kick mofos starting talking about him like Jamaican Anderson Silva shit was comedy. Then Colby got announced and he was supposed to finish him yet it was same old decision machine Leon. Then Belal manhandled him.

He's just lame and his best win before winning a title in 2022 was a 2019 win over RDA. He got rocked and almost finished by nate diaz which was one of the most embarassing performances to earn a title fight I think I've ever see.

Had he not got the last round head kick KO, he would've been hated and we could've avoided the Leon era. Absolutely garbage trilogy. His top wins are over Usman/Colby who are probably retiring after 2 more fights.

The UFC doesn't promote its fighters. Leon doesn't promote himself. Unless he's fighting no one talks about him. His attitude doesn't do him any favors.
