Leon is completely forgotten

To be fair, I had honestly forgotten Belal's name already until it was brought up in this thread.

I hate to say this, but he showed a lack of heart in the Belal fight and the final two Usman fights. Looks uninspired, never fights for the finish, a bit forgettable...

Undefeated for almost 10 years.
Knocked out Usman is amazing fashion.
Great post fight interview.
Defeated Usman in the trilogy.
Rid the WW title picture of Colby.

Loses to Belal and now no one cares.
What went wrong?
This sport is so sad.
All fans have the attention span of a potato, while the athletes compete twice a year by average.

"Look at me now"

Love his style. Just wish his finish rate was better. I feel like his cardio is suspect vs. others in his division.

Lot’s.

Forgettable performances except that headkick.

Probably worst charisma in UFC, even Belal makes him look boring.

Most importantly. No hype as champ. Didn’t fight often. Boring fights. No hype.

WW is so exciting, him as champ isn’t

Leon had neck issues prior to the BLOL fight, then got dumped on his head badly during the fight... Yet ... Finished on top.

It was this moment that Leon earned a rematch.

I shat on Leon for being boring, truly not a fan,
but got money on him besting BLullz in a rematch.

At least i remember his name ...
<GOT2>
Clutching as straws. There will be no rematch.

forgettable personality who tends to murmur through interviews
forgettable fights despite the most 'correct' striking in UFC
no heart, despite the nickname rocky.
forgettable title run and fame based off one roundhouse
beaten comprehensively by a forgettable fighter
That's a hilarious take, considering what he did to Usman after getting his ass kicked for almost 4 straight rounds. Anyone with "no heart" would've just rolled over and quit. Instead, Leon produced a highlight KO for the ages.

He had shitty Colby kickboxing with him for five rounds and he didn't even try to finish him when he could have. Taking risks is what makes you beloved.

Look at Charles - He was getting nearly finished in all his title fights but it made it way more hype when he won.

Shavkat and JDM against Belal are far more entertaining fights for the fans than Leon.

Straws?

It was legit the last fight regarding that title.

It was also the last fight, for both guys.
Neither have been cut.

Fuckin' idiot
<suzylol>
You’re an idiot. You spoke as if the rematch is a sure thing.

It’s quite likely we never see them fight again and never see Leon fight for a belt. It shows you have no idea what you are talking about. Leon is at least two years behind in a log jam for the belt now

I enjoy watching him fight. Not the most interesting guy outside of that. Seems like the type of guy you drink a beer with in awkward silence. Then he would just look at you and say “So you watch my fight? HEAD SHOT BANG!!!!” Then he would laugh at his own great moment and go back to a stone face drinking his beer. Yeah, that type of guy

He didn't even show up to really fight and just seemed content to let Belul take his belt

Mental midgetry  Hard to be a fan of a dude that quits on himself like that.
