Media Kai Asakura on what made him interested in fighting

Japan Top Team sighting.

Kai ended up being twice the fighter Mikuru is.

Sakakibara evidently holds some respect with Dana that other promoters don't. They  might name drop another promotion, but they're not really showing footage of them at length. Sak getting that free promotion, right before an ALL DAY event on NYE. He's got Oscar De La Hoya indirectly promoting for him right now, also. The man is ingenious.

How much has he improved since the losses to Kape and Horiguchi? Is this fight close to 50/50?

That's awesome. Cool to have the footage, too. Having brothers can toughen someone up pretty quickly, if they get rough.

I hope to see similar footage of the current Asakura shindigs.

He's 5-1, loss was to Ougi, who could have probably been in the UFC, himself. Kai had already beat him, as with Kape and Horiguchi. He's started Japan Top Team since the Horiguchi loss, with a focus on training with international fighters and coaches. Last fight was an easy finish over Juan Archuleta, who came in over the weight limit, and who was the current RIZIN BW champ, before missing weight.

Such a great matchup, thinking Pantoja takes it though.

Sakikibara has Yakuza ties. Screw that guy.

You can't even spell his name right, Sakuraba is awesome. There is no credible evidence to suggest that Kazushi Sakuraba, the famous Japanese mixed martial artist, has any direct ties to the Yakuza. If you have proof, present it, I guarantee you don't. You're probably one of those far-left commies that get their propaganda from Reddit.

A japanese champ would be neat. But Pantoja has that fucking DAWG in'em.

I do not care whether you like him or not, I'm not friends with the guy. Rich, though, considering Dana has known mob ties all over the place. Hopefully it's "screw that guy, too."
