Would be cool if someone turned the first movie into flashback scenes for the other two, cutting out all the boring parts.
 
Yep, it's crap. Two after that one are superb. Also, last one with Tom Hardy is pretty good.

I shit you not I watched Big Time in little China for my first time a few months ago on Netflix. Now maybe its cause I am 38 and I grew up on 80s flicks, but I thought it held up very well and was more entertaining then most of the drivel Hollyweird puts out today.

So in short, I disagree entirely with your assessment.

Lmao i just couldn't enjoy the sword fighting and action scenes so corny, and all i remember as a kid was I enjoyed this hahaha, i actually just scanned by it again because i saw it on my phone hehehe.
 
Finally watched road warrior.

Pretty much the movie I expected when watching the first one. It improves everything especially the pace of the film and editing. It still has long scenes but the scenes payoff unlike in the first one. Really enjoyed this one. The final road battle is pretty great and honestly better than Fury road although I have to watch fury road again.

Now I have to watch Volcano and then Thunderdome

The series was even worse, and then in Highlander 4 they had the TV Highlander and the Movie one together.

Dude, Highlander TV shown was better than the movies. That show was great. (Although Highlander 4 was a big disappointment)
 
Just watched thunderdome.

I was super into it during the first 2 acts. Really liked the pig shit and master blaster arc. I thought it was on par with Road warrior up until he was exiled. As soon as the story arc with the tribe of kids started the movie lost me. Not completely, but I felt the first 2 acts were on road brilliant and then in act 3 took a turn onto cheese-corn lane. Still not terrible.

After watching all of them ill say

1. Road Warrior - A plus
2. Fury Road - B+ or A -
3. Thunderdome - C+
5. Mad Max - F U
