Media Jon says it's Alex or nothing

It’s a trash fight, jones would ragdoll Poatan. Fans keep getting suckered into these non-competitive fights, like all the idiots who though Tyson had a chance against Jake Paul.
If I was wanted your stupid take I'd ask. Alex is in his prime killing people only goofs think he won't give Jones problems.

Fans of this sport don't deserve Jones
There is no universe where Ankalaev would deserve a LHW title shot over Jon Jones. LHW is where like 95% of Jon's career has been, has 15 wins in title fights, and never lost his belt in the cage. If he gives up the HW title I don't see an issue with it. It's still a massive fight even if they don't do it at 205.
225 catch weight

Why would the UFC jeopardize a cash cow like Alex for a sunset fighter like Jones
See how it sounds?

You’re a retard. Losers like you are why Jake Paul is making tens of millions selling dog shit fraudulent fights. Do us all a favor and don’t pass on your genes pal.

The fight with Stipe was signed years ago.

Jon's first ever heavyweight fight was in 2023, so no, it was not 'years ago'

Not that it would matter. Stipe was retired and coming off a KO LOSS. A non-competitive, get murdered KO loss. There is no world where you can argue he was #1 contender due for a title fight.

It’s was a done deal Tom didn't have the interim belt when Jones signed to fight Stipe.

Why would Jones say no to 15 million to fight Stipe. Tom was just a contender when this fight was signed.

I don't blame Jon - he doesn't want to fight Tom because its a much more dangerous fight. They dug up the bones of Stipe (who again immediately retired in cage LMAO) because that was an easy payday for Jon. Jon should want easy paydays.

It is up to the UFC to run appropriate title shots and bookings. This was one of their most ridiculous bookings to date, and that is saying something.

In any event, there is no more bullshit to pull - Jon will fight Tom or he'll vacate the belt and likely the division.

"Sorrynada" I had to rewatch the last second or two of the video a few times to make sure...I'm sure I've mispronounced words before, not hating.

I have never liked Jon because of his Steroid use and out of the cage antics. Although I have to be honest; Jon's career could have been completed at LHW and we are essentially getting a bonus at this point. After what I saw in the presser, I do believe that Jones is posturing himself to be in the best position payment wise for the Aspinall fight. He is 100% aware of the dangers, of the fact Tom will be the biggest test of his career. If I were in his shoes, I would also be angling for the biggest paycheck of my life. He's always been calculated with his career. Aspinall however, is deep underneath Jon's skin, which could equate to major problems for Tom when they fight. Jones is a nasty guy, do not fool yourself. I hope Dana has Jon's cash delivered in a few dump trucks, on time and you should be too. It's the right fight to make and it should be made soon before Jon gets any older.

Bones v Pereria for 205 title an Jon final fight. Go out champion of where he dominated.

Dana also knows that he is out of stars. Pereira is the only "big" name but he is still not known to casuals. Jones has 1 more fight before he absolutely retires.

When Jon retires, Pereira will fill his interest gap for a few years until the UFC pulls a star out of there ass which they are absolutely desperate for at this point. Not having Pereira lose even more of his luster is the first priority in Dana's mind which is why he mentioned right away why he doesn't want to make the fight.

Giving Jon what he wants is a bad business move for the company's bottom line and legitimacy.

I don't see why Jon couldn't do BOTH fights next year.

The Poatan fight would be over in the first round anyway. Theres no fucking chance Alex survives those elbows in the first round.

Just said he will fight him for "fuck you money" though, so it's possible

Yup, same thing he did with Francis. Would only fight him for some astronomical number and then when Francis leaves, Jon signs to fight for far less against a far more favorable opponent. Now he's doing the same with Tom.

For such a great fighter, Jones really can be a little bitch. This is why Fedor was so much better.

Disagree. Chama is set to lose sooner or later anyways. A loss to Jones will be forgiven. A potential loss to Ank will unbrighten his star.

Plus Poatan isn't young himself. You make the superfight of you don't think you can make the Tom fight happen and you do it even though Jones likely wins and retires.

This is true, but to the eyes of the casual a loss to Jones matters. I think Ank is a winnable fight for him, Jones not so much.

I think matching him against a HW is absolutely in the cards but it will absolutely not be anyone grapple heavy, so they need to pick at the right time.

Well it's either fight grappling threat Jon or grappling threat Ankalaev. One fight is much bigger than the other, especially if it's for the LHW title. If Alex loses, he's right back in another title fight because Jon retires.

Ankalaev isnt really a grappler though.

Spent half a decade getting his body ready for HW just to fight LHW/MW guys again. You can’t make this shit up lmao.

A retard would pretend Alex Pereira is Mike Tyson.

DC also said he didn't want to fight dangerous up and comers. Just saying. I still think jones is a cheating fraud though.

Watching the post fight presser. Jon said he's ready to drop the belt and Tom could have it, not interested in fighting him. Says he wants to fight Alex.

If he drops the belt, that's fine. His choice. Tom can taunt him until he disappears but you can't make a man compete in an arena he doesn't want to compete in. The only crime would be keeping the belt and fighting Alex instead of Tom.

But I think he's negotiating. They should throw stupid money at him for his potentially last fight and get him to fight Tom. It's in the UFC's hands.

Jones got injured and didn’t fight Stipe when it was first scheduled which was close to a year ago. The point is when Jones amd Stipe originally signed the fight for the big $$$$ Tom was a contender and wasn’t in the equation.

The fact that time passed was because they didn’t fight when they were meant to fight because of the injury. The fight with Stipe was money in the bank.

When they were originally talking about the Jones and Stioe fight that was around the beginning of 2023 when he fought Gane.

There is no way in hell anyone especially Jones would walk away from the money that he was getting to fight Stipe.
