Aspinall injured his right knee. He fights orthodox and his right knee is on his rear leg. There's a reason people use side leg kicks and oblique leg kicks to the front leg.

Jon would have to get really close to Aspinall to even attempt to land an oblique kick to Aspinall's rear leg, and he would have to give Tom a huge advantage in foot position.

So you're telling me Jon will get well into Tom's punching range, with a side on stance to land his oblique or side leg kick, making it really hard to defend punches. Against a guy who is bigger, stronger, much faster than him, and with KO power.

Do Jones fans not know anything about martial arts, or fighting in general? Do they even know what they are watching?

I thought it was his front leg. That's a good point. But no one's tested that leg since his injury, Jones chin hasn't been tested but a few punches from Stipe. He has a wider variety of strikes. Hell can ruin Aspinall's lead leg and force a stance switch. Or do Aspinall fans think his legs more tested than Jones chin?

That's a fairer assessment, but I think it's crazy to say Jones can never find a way to hurt is bad leg. He's a different fighter than Tybura like Aspinall is different than Stipe. Like I said Jones could strategize to take out Aspinall's good leg and could give Aspinall 2 bad legs. Kind of makes me interested in Pereira vs Aspinall because he really could test that factor.

At this stage of Jon's career I view everyone he fights as a massive underdog. Jon has seen it all, done it all, and beat them all.
Jon being a bad person is irrelevant. The burden of proof falls on Tom. Tom has to prove he is the guy to dethrone the boogie man. Now IMO Jon has hung around a little too long and father time is starting to creep up, you can see his shadow edging closer, but Jon is the guy I need to see lose. I don't care what some dude says pre-fight, even one as good as Tom. Tom seems a good man, Jon is not a good man. Don't care.

I will say it right now! Tom Aspinall has a punchers chance and his window of winning the fight closes in the first round heck not even first round but first minutes of first round where he has his explosiveness. Jon Jones is to smart to get caught by a one shoot he has fought gazilions of guys with one punch KO power etc etc.

The Amount of arsenal Jon Jones has is to great for Aspinall. Heck I won´t even be surprised if Jones finishes him in the first round.

Jones knows that Aspinall is same level as Ciryl Gane and past first round he is done. Tom Aspinall has never taken any of the shoots Jones is gonna throw at him and fighting chinny slow HWs is nothing compared to Jon Jones which is completely different world of difference. Throwing some haymakers at random heavyweights who have no IQ is nothing comparable to sharing an octagon with Jon Jones.

I don´t think Aspinall is ready because he has never seen adversary in his career aside from his knee injury and fight was stopped. Jon is intelligent, fast and lethal. He is experienced and has been thru wars and extremely elusive this will frustrate Aspinall from first few mins when he realize holyshxt this guy is elusive and he is hitting me everytime with something big. This will be the beginning of the end Aspinall will feel like a fish out of water..

Aspinall has losses, he has seen adversity. You speak as though Jones is the Jones of old, when in reality he is just old. Jones can win, no doubt but Aspinall is the rightful favourite to win his first championship
