Someone needs to do a cartoon where Gotham has fallen whole, into hell, and is divided into different Jokerlands?

Nicholson Joker
Ledger Joker
Leto Joker (comic relief)
Hamill Joker
Comic book joker; Dark Knight Returns version
Joaquin Joker?

If Joaquin Phoenix refuses to do a sequel, they could always replace him with Chevy Chase and call the movie Fleck.

okay so we agree that he isn’t an incel.
The lone wolfs of the incel movement worship all the same angles. When you alienate and marginalize and reject the socially stunted and reclusive you "deserve what you get"

The idea/danger is that they find more in common with this movie than this movie intended

Yes, he killed her. Obviously, he killed her. What I'm asking you is, what made you think he killed the one who he complained didn't listen to him?
Either one wouldn't have been justified. The idea was supposed to be that Joker punches upwards; killing any therapist doesn't meet that criteria

He killed the second therapist because of the humor in it. The second therapist was the same as the first one, and whether he was laughing because of his problem, or because of that, he decided that it was the joke of having the exact same thing as a "counselor" in the nut-house. I laughed at it the second time I saw it. Totally not "PC," but having a black lady like that again in the exact same situation is comical.

I don't mind a scene about a killer doing killer things, I'm saying Todd Phillips is dumb for trying to tell people in interviews that Joker obeys a villain's code of honor by only killing those who deserve it. An ineffective therapist is the kind of person Heath Ledger's joker would have messed with, not necessarily killed outright. He liked leaving innocent bystanders behind to soak up his scene while he went after major targets. They're his audience. He strikes me as a villain who should have have a playful relationship to them, like the dinner guests at Wayne's party in DK

Criterion; criteria is the plural.

By that point, he's given up his code. He doesn't care anymore. He's thrown any sense of morality aside and become pure evil.

Anyway, you just don't wanna admit that you believed those two women were one and the same person. Gee, I wonder why that is.

You sound like a blast at parties

Remember when people were saying “nobody is asking for this” when this movie was announced? Fans don’t know shit.

Finally watched. Really good. 8/10.

That is one crazy motherfucker. Brilliant performance and he definitely deserves the oscar nomination.

Some little improbable scenarios, but I'll go along with it and won't nitpick.

Eg: after telling deniro on his show he killed those 3 guys, what follows seems improbable. They go on with casual conversation, nobody moves, everything is casual after admitting to a mass murder (rather than cutting the tv feed immidiately and security hustling his ass out of there)

The whole idea of him getting the tv shot seems improbable, based on what got him there.

Seemed improbable that cute black girl with the child would be attracted to him and want to be in is life.

Girl WTF is wrong with you.

That aside, good movie, super intense, and am not too eager to rewatch. Ala Taxi Driver, I'm not into that weird, incel, weirdo psycho movies, sick violence. Too unsettling.
