Crime John Bolton indicted on 18 counts.

To keep him from running????????? Him winning the Presidency was the only way to avoid those prosecutions. And low and behold POOF!!!!!!! They're gone! Garland and company, by slow walking prosecutions, guaranteed Trump could avoid accountability by winning in 2024.
They did it going into an election year for impact. Whether that was he got convicted or just criminal optics. It was all for that.

Piers Morgan said in the lead to the 2024 election that if Trump wins, you will have Alvinn Bragg to thank for that. They forget how low Trump was polling after the 2022 midterms and the popular sentiment was to move on to someone else. But then they overplayed their hand when they really tried to bury him six ways from Sunday. It backfired when Americans clearly saw what was happening.

Trump himself was not polling well, but republicans in general were, retook the house, and that was despite the mar-a-lago raid happening just a few months before the midterms, not to mention the roe v wade thing.

It is true most saw through the lawfare, which is why it helped Trump. And the same people, and by people, I mean the not really politically engaged people who don’t even usually vote, but gravitated to Trump despite the lawfare, they will be all to happy to see these scumbags be dragged through the mud.

I think it only has upside for the right, especially if they are found guilty, and are clearly guilty

This is pretty much fan fiction, there's nothing to suggest that Biden's DOJ deliberately targeted Trump over the documents case.

The complaint came independently from NARA after over a year of Trump's obstructing, obfuscating, and lying about the return of the documents which were SCIF classified materials. Not even comparable to John Bolton working from home.

In reality, all these cases should be tossed out based on Trump's vocalizing that he wants the DOJ to deliberately target people he considers his enemies no matter how much merit there are to the charges.

Im talking about the myriad of prosecutions that all came in the heels of an election year. It is why trumps poll numbers went up. I don't like going after Bolton and have stated it over and over. Even if hes guilty.... so are most at these levels. Its about finding dirt.

This alternate reality is brought to you by Reddit.

Im not so sure. I think majority just want the government to govern and this looks like targeting even if guilty. I would rather trump focus on the big picture things. Not on petty nonsense.

Fair enough. I just think a lot of people think government weaponization is illegal and terrible for the country. And going after these people is not weaponization, because don’t face consequences, they will keep doing it. It is justice.

Just like this Jack Smith person, who was crying this week about how fair and apolitical the DOJ and career prosecutors are. Well, he Went after governor of VA, a rising Republican star, ruined his political career, only to have the SCOTUS overturn the conviction unanimously.

Rather than receive any type of punishment for obvious lawfare, he went to Europe to be a Hague lawyer until the time was right for the democrats to bring him back to go after Trump. Why? Cause never held accountable.

Karma is karma, and the only way to stop a bully is to punch them right in the gut and then kick them in the face when they are down, and make them cry… which is exactly what is happening, with these freaks melting down in TV daily. Most people appreciate that fact

Most of those cases were at the state level and were also brought up independently of each other.

This is a complete fantasy it was done to hurt Trump's election chances rather than to charge him with crimes we all know he committed.

E Jean Carrol launched the suits on her own, likewise with James. These are the only one I would even perceive as mostly partisan. But we all know Trump is a real estate fraud. We know he lied about valuation of his properties for various reasons. We know he tried to conceal payments to a hooker by committing mortgage fraud with his personal fixer. We know he tried to coerce Georgia state politicians to just find votes and declare him the winner. We know they tried to submit fake electors to delay and overturn the result of the 2020 election. We know he had his basement flooded at Mar-A-Lago to destroy the security footage of his goons moving around and concealing the documents NARA was requesting returned.

It's not that he is being targeted, it's that he is a very bad criminal in the sense he didn't cover his tracks well at all and did it all rather overtly.

All at the same time.... it was political bruh...

I get your point but where does it end?

No, he's obviously a criminal. He just does crimes all the time. Him entering politics just brought it all to the surface.

Before he was even in politics he was involved in more lawsuits than pretty much anyone else in NYC history.
Trump operates like the mafia because he learned from the best. Being in real estate in the 80's in NY necessitated dealing with the NY mob. And who was Trump's lawyer? One of the biggest if not the biggest mob lawyer in NY, Roy Cohn. Its laughable people act like Trump is being targeted.

Ok well his poll numbers reflected public opinion and they went up because of some of this. It wasn't chance.

I mean, his poll numbers went up because Biden and Kamala sucked.
Right after all the indictments? Nah...but also true. They should have had a primary. I still think trump was beatable. Just not with Kamala.

I mean this seems like some post-hoc fan fiction that his poll numbers went up because of him being a criminal.
It is long in the past but all this was brought up and documented in previous threads about the whole thing when it happened. No point in going on about it

I mean you're trying to claim something to be true that can't actually be quantified.

No, this is how you ensure this is the standard, period.

Becoming what you hate isn't a way to defeat anything.

You boys need to grow up. Karma lol

You have to look back at the news at that time. I'm not speaking about some secret info. If you want to say it was coincidence that he got a bump following all of the announcements okay but most people attribut it to that
