That's the problem: You don't know and are still calling the Russia incident a hoax.

A dozen people were convicted as a result of the Russia investigation. The list of lies Trump told about Russia is as long as my arm and it's all documented.

The optics shouldn't matter, either you committed a crime or you didn't. I think Comey did the right thing investigating Hillary's email issues eleven days before the election even though it gave Trump the presidency; the difference is, people who vote Democrat care about the law. Republicans absolutely do not.

The problem is not only did they fully trust, support, and believe all the people involved with the farce, and believed every word of it…

The bigger problem for them is they belittled and demonized the people who disagreed and at the time, who were saying it is BS and continued to support Trump.

Once you do that, you internalize it to a degree where cognitive dissonance is very hard to get past, and is how psychosis (and cults) are formed.

To admit they were not only wrong, the people they supported and believed are liars and corrupt, but even more so, the people who believe “misinformation” and are dumb trumpers were actually correct, thus making them the dumb ones believing obvious misinformation.

That is why they have had to double down every single step of the way, including Biden was sharp, the border and crime was not a problem.

And that is why there is literally a no kings rally tomorrow. Because these people are legit psychotic, experiencing psychosis and do not know how to cope with being wrong about every single issue over the last decade

Three major reasons for what seems like hyper partisanship, which it isn’t partisan because it is simply truth or not, are the Russia collusion hoax and Ukraine impeachment hoax/Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

The people that colluded and conspired over both Russia collusion and Ukraine impeachment are the same people who lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop and completely covered that up.

They are using their positions to influence elections. Even someone like Bolton who may not have been directly involved with those, he was cheer leading them on the side line, just like the lawfare despite obviously doing the same stuff.

That is why these things need to be revisited, these people dragged through the mud, and have it rubbed in the face of people who still believe the hoaxes. That is the only way we as a country can move on. Simply exposing the truth.

Oh, let’s not get started on COViD where the same people lied for years about where the virus came from, the effectiveness of various policies, treatments, etc

It's not about Trump simply "mishandling documents". They gave him opportunities to return the documents. Had he just returned them, he would not have been charged. But he decided to partially comply and only return SOME documents while hiding others and lying to the government about having them which forced the government to get a warrant to retrieve them.

Do you have an example of someone from a previous administration that did this and was not charged?
 
There is no ambiguity in the rules for possession of classified documents. There is no ambiguity about verbal retelling of secrets. There is no ambiguity in rules for classified email. There is no ambiguity in rules for use of encrypted phones. There is no ambiguity in the rules for transporting and destroying classified documents. These rules are all very well spelled out and you must know them. This is about Trump Obama Biden Clinton Pence Bolton etc.
 
They tell you how to construct your vault, what door with what lock. They tell you what briefcase and which handcuff. They tell you what safe you need. They tell you what alarm system you need. They come in threes to secure eyes only documents for transport so 2 pairs of eyes are always on it. You are to report any breach and possibly destroy entire programs upon orders.

And while Bolton seems to have obviously committed actus reus for many of these charges, whether he had a guilty mind (mens rea) is still entirely up in the air. There's no guarantee the prosecution will be able to prove he intentionally broke the law.

The most comparable cases are David Petraeus and Sandy Berger, who both plead guilty to misdemeanors.

i don’t agree with that. these things go to court and they get whatever they get. grand jury decides if there is enough for a trial. he’s obviously guilty of mishandling info and he didn’t have any reason to have it nor is he the president who gets to declassify at will. probation is probably about right for him unless he really did sell it to another country. then we would have something
