IIRC, he provided the seed money for the foundation. Not sure if you can properly say he created the foundation, but it is what it is. Epstein was also one of the largest donors to Harvard, to the tune of $30 million, which Harvard has refused to give back. Epstein's funded a lot of important medical and scientific research as well as notable academics in related fields.
