As mentioned previously, they typically don't hang like an old-school drop-hanging that would break your neck, more tie something around a bunk and just sit down or lean forward and it chokes you out like a RNC only there is no release.

I know two guys who hung themselves at home and neither had a broken neck in the autopsy. Meaningless and doesn't mean he didn't, but just saying.

A real hanging involves a broken neck but people have figured out how to hang themselves from door knobs using only a scarf or a belt out of a bathrobe. You just tie the belt around the doorknob and sit down. Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade come to mind.

Hell Carradine did it jacking off. Much better ways to hang yourself than frog hurl from a top bunk

I'm no forensics expert, but I would imagine cannonballing off of a six foot bunk with a noose around your neck with even the slightest slack, might also do some damage.

I'm still firmly in camp "something fishy here", but the actual injuries haven't raised too much of an alarm for me. Lots of shit can happen in amateur hang jobs. I just want to know about the camera footage, personally. Surely they can at least show that nobody entered his cell, regardless of what they have inside the cell. I would think they would've said something about that by now.

A good friend of mine died recently under very tragic circumstances. Some of us saw it coming for quite a while but it was still a huge shock when it finally happened. I picked up this book at the advice of a friend and absolutely couldn't put it down. I'd read it walking the dog, getting fast food, or even just lounging around the house. It helped me realized that my friend really believed in something, and that giving your life for the CIA, NSA, FBI, Mossad, or other intelligence agency is truly a higher calling and not something to mourn. A wholehearted recommendation.
