There is too many unknowns to the relationships to make any call. Why would a former intelligence officer "hire" someone who would go on to be become an intelligence asset to work at his school when unqualified? It could be phrased that way. Maybe he had nothing to do with it, Barr's reputation is one of being an expert at cover-ups though, which he got from Iran-contra. In a discusion in a possible cover-up i see that as relevant as opposed to ad Hominem. I didn't call him a cunt, i said he had covered up stuff before, i'd argue there is a qualitative difference here.
I've not made a decision either way, I adhere to the Aristotelian method of "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."
