The most obvious rationale. He had dirt on...well...everyone, including powerful government elites at home and abroad. They had him killed before he could go to trial and expose them.

This ain't rocket science. If you want to believe this guy just conveniently had a heart attack(or whatever), before he was able to start squealing on all these elites, go ahead. I mean, it's not impossible, but it's a mighty big coincidence, no?

I honestly was just updating with CNN saying it was cardiac arrest. The implication of suicide was already obvious from the thread. My CT is just a question of how he killed himself with nobody on watch

There are different levels of suicide watch and people have killed themselves while under them.

OK. I don't know, but 0% chance based on what I saw in the slam. And that includes more than one facility. But again, that was three decades ago so I'm sure things have changed. But these were nobodies and they made sure they couldn't end themselves. In fairness, sometimes they were back in a regular cell in a week or two if they chilled out and (I assume) said the right things.

Except a high profile inmate managing to commit suicide while under watch after a previous attempt to take his own life is not the most likely explanation. It requires an incredible lack of professionalism by whoever was responsible for watching Epstein.

Lack of professionalism and suicide because consequences, yes.

Well, in fairness, they do occasionally give you blankets in there. It would still be a big stretch that he had time to rip a piece off, make a noose, and hang himself with nobody watching this extremely high profile inmate.

Somebody let this happen. Somebody likely also just had three digits added to their bank account.
