Exactly, you don't know anything about suicide in prison/jail. I've held tourniquets on an inmates wrists who sliced them open with a broken food tray, I've cut a dead body down from hanging with a bed sheet, and overdoses. All people with "nothing" the outside world has.

Sounds like you don't know the statistics either... the rest of this is anecdotal and adds nothing to the conversation, I didn't claim suicides don't happen or that there is "nothing" in prison the outside world has... simply that statistically, it's not "easy" to kill yourself and I ASSUME it's more difficult in prison where access to means (e.g. A gun) and time is less.

Actually, 30% of people with a "will" (e.g. High or very high intent to complete suicide) fail AFTER AN ATTEMPT. Is that rate higher or lower in prison? I'm open to being wrong, if you have the evidence.

How many of those statistical failures, were people who didnt actually want to follow through with it? I'll wait for the data.

According to one study, about 70% rated their intent to die as moderate or below.... so out of about 900 people, 300 had high or very high intent to complete suicide but were nonetheless unsuccessful.

Wait for what data? The link I posted has this data which shows a range but averages out to 32 of 33 suicide attempts (in the community) as being unsuccessful.

The Hyoid bone is one of the bones found broken in Epstein's neck. It can be broken by people who hang themselves, but it is much more prevalent in people who are strangled. It's more common to break for people over 40 but really depends where on the neck the strangulation occurs. When you hang yourself, the rope is typically over the Adam's Apple, less likely to break the hyoid bone. However, when you get strangled, either by a rope or manually, the hyoid bone is more likely to break.

Now, to the posters who've been obsessively trying to shut down anybody who finds Epstein's death suspicious, no this doesn't 100% mean he was killed by someone. But it's another factor that adds to the suspiciousness of his death and it's worth discussing.

Don't think of his "hanging" like a traditional drop n' pop, neck snapping hanging. If he did it, he would've likely strangled himself with whatever he used, by tying it to something and leaning forward.

In the studies you read what kind of hanging were they talking about? Hanging someone from a tree or light fixture is much different than what was possible for Epstein. He could at best tie something around his neck and lean his head forward I'm not sure that would break any bones.

Saying "Doesn't mean a single thing" is wrong, especially with this case. If you read my original post, you'll see that I mention the hyoid bone can break in a hanging, but it's just much more prevalent in strangulations. This is worth discussing, as are the many factors of this case that make it suspicious. It actually does give support to the notion he was murdered, but again we have no definite conclusion yet. I'm open to possibilities, as I wish you and other posters who are somehow positive he wasn't murdered should be.

I have posted their art work in other threads. Not the worst, but these are shots he even chose to put in a magazine for Washingtonians. "Oh hey, let me get some art work of a clearly abused girl, with lifeless eyes, sitting on a stool in her underware".

"oh hey, my living room could really use a picture of two dead siblings being covered up by forest growth, that would REALLY tie things together.. you know, it would compliment the picture of the girls waiting to be deflowered, laying on a bathroom tile floor"
