It's October... Halloween/Horror Movies

Night of the Demons- (1988)
Freddy vs Jason- (2003)
Trick r Treat (2009)- My personal go to Halloween movie the last 7 years
Halloween (1978)- Of course
The Conjuring- (2013)

The one with that hot blonde with the most perfect natural big naked titties. Can't remember her name or the movie. She had mount and went topless and bottomless and ended up on her back.

Edit: Julianna Guill. First ballot HOF'er.

"Phantasm", 1979.
Man, how can you guys forget this one?
I must be the 'old man' in the house. The music and that awesome 1971 Plymouth Barracuda...

Trick R Treat

Keep it simple, bud.

Planning to watch The Fly and American Werewolf in London for the first time this month.

watched Scared Stiff, Next of Kin & Razorback tonight

Scared Stiff was totally ridiculous. this trashy relic tried to take itself seriously, but mein gott did it ever get a bunch of legitimate laughs out of me. the third act is bonkersville city. def recommend if incompetent lunacy is your kinda thing

but more importantly it’s the horror films from down under that stole the show. Next of Kin was fucking awesome. the director is a total nobody, but he somehow managed to fart out this brilliant blend of Ozploitation & giallo. went in w/ zero expectations; left w/ a new October staple. Razorback was dumb as dog dicks, but it was a tasty treat visually. reminded me a lot of Pumpkinhead, except Russell Mulcahy had way more balls than Stan Winston.

my biggest takeaway from tonight is that i clearly need to watch more Australian horror movies. Next of Kin is a legit horror classic imo. Body Melt & Razorback are trashy, but fun as hell & make up for their shortcomings w/ visual flair. then there are horror-adjacent masterpieces like Picnic at Hanging Rock & Wake in Fright. if anyone has recommendations, i’m all ears

Been on a bit of a horror binge the last couple of days, watched

Pet Sematary(original)
Eli
Brightburn
The Prodigy

Children of the Corn and the original The Omen are next
Love Pet Semetary, did anyone watch the remake? Any good?

Children of the Corn is decent enough, always fun to see kids killing people.
I do really like The Omen, and the second one, though much maligned, is a really good film.
That little fucker comes across as a conniving little devil shit, it's good fun.
Fuck the third one though, horror movies about politics do nothing for me

I fell asleep right when it started to pick up when he first transformed into the werewolf, everything up to that point was pretty bad ass though. I'm going to try to finish it tonight.
I fall asleep to pretty much every movie I watch, it's the ultimate relaxation for me.
Some times I watch the same 10 minutes over and over until I manage to stay awake

Scared Stiff is a dumb movie, but it's still fun. Like you said, similar to Pumpkinhead and Rawhead Rex (if you want an Irish take on it)

Aussie horror is low key awesome at times, Next Of Kin I haven't watched in a long time, but it had a Blu Ray release recently so I will get the chance to watch it in HD soon.
Razorback is funny too, I love creature features and this little hairy pig fucker i awesome!

For more Aussie horror/Ozploitatio try
Road Games - Not strictly Aussie but it still is, Stacy Keach does a dodgy accent and Jamie Lee Curtis is also in it. It's not strictly horror, more an oddball road movie/serial killer thriller/voyeur horror.
But I love it, one of my favorites, and has some great Australian scenery.
Turkey Shoot & Fair Game are good 80's Ozploitation/horror
Long Weekend is very, very good, 1978 I think
Dead End Drive-In I think is Aussie

if you want to watch something semi-shit but one I really enjoy (and if you can find it), Out Of The Body from 1989 is a nice movie, reminds me of Retribution a little.
It's not great, but then I do like some shit movies

Might have to watch this when it comes out, looks OK and it has baby Schwarzenegger in it

I'm going with Halloween 5 tonight, God help me, that little mute fucker bugged the shit out of me last time

I can't be the only one that finds it weird that John Saxon was in mad horror movies (TNoES, Black Xmas, etc...)

but also the white guy in Enter the Dragon?

talk about random

Very good movie and scary Trick 'r treat. Hey have you seen Camp Blood? .. I watched that last year halloween and it was so bad lol, it was beyond horrific, I couldn't believe how bad it was, the acting, camera work, everything.. turned it off after 35 minutes, couldn't go on any longer.

I suggest any of the following. Suspiria would likely be the only heavyweight horror movie listed below, if you consider it a heavyweight.

Burnt Offerings
The Changeling (1980)
Cujo
The Lost Boys
Near Dark
Suspiria (1977)
Tenebre
Wolf Creek
