There's this thing that they invented recently called the internet... it allows me to follow politics and world events from all around the world, with different perspectives and analysis from various sources... it even shows video of what is occurring.

Most people seem to have a very strong opinion, either way on what is happening in Israel with the Palestinians... yet I would bet good money that the vast majority of these people have never been there.

It's wonderful that the modern world allows me all the same access to information on events from the other side of the planet that you have, with nothing but the search function.

That's my friend, @scoopj . We are Charlotte people. Same age and we can relate about how that city has changed in the last 30 years. Dude is my same age and into fitness and fighting. I would be shocked if we haven't crossed paths or at least peripheral friends knowing each other. Him and @Cajun are real cool cats. I think they are horribly misguided with their politics, but I know that they just want to get along for the most part. I find it pretty boring to hang out with people that 100% agree with me. I actually drove by the Ft. Lauderdale rally, they actually had a pretty decent crowd, including younger people, but I was very surprised by the lack of black people. Broward county is the bluest in FL because of the black population, and I only saw 2 or 3 in the entire crowd.

On a normal weekend, would have seen more just driving by the same span of a few blocks due to homeless people lol
