And. yes, Klein's THE CEREMONIES is my favorite novel. Unfortunately, that was his only novel as he is notoriously non-prolific. Apparently he frequently suffers from writer's block & therefore hates the creative process of writing fiction so he very rarely does so. His only other book is DARK GODS a collection of four of his short novels.

Yes she most certainly was/still is a beauty. Nastassja Kinski as well, can you imagine how their upbringing must have been with dads like that? Especially Nastassja, the poor girl! Wasn't she only 14 when she appeared fully nude in To The Devil A Daughter, and I believe was only 12 when she was topless for the first time on screen. That's a pretty fucked up family to be in!

I need to read Ceremonies again, someone stole my last copy

I watched Resident Evil the other night. I thought it was ok. Holy shit, i didn't realize there are so many sequels. Not sure if i could watch all of those, but might check the second one out at some point. The action was decent, but the the flow of the movie was a little off. Seemed like it was pieces rather than one flowing story.

Also watched Bright Burn. Man, that had so much potential, but ultimately felt a little flat and rushed. It had some cool moments when the kid embraces his darker nature and abilities, but they could have made it longer and explored some character development and really built it up more. Wonder if they will do a sequel.

Heard a lot about Bright Burn but haven't watched it, not sure if I will. Is it worth seeking out?

I didn't mind the first Resident Evil, but it was too much shitty CGI from what I remember. They must have made 8 or 10 of them I think
