It's October... Halloween/Horror Movies

It's far superior to the original. It's what the original was trying to be with its really shitty production value.

Dumbest thing I've read today. That's like claiming Rob Zombie's Halloween is superior to John Carpenter's.

The Evil Dead
An American Werewolf in London
Possession
The Howling
Scanners

are the five I'm gonna watch this Halloween.

It's absolutely nothing like that, as Rob Zombie's Halloween films were terrible and didn't really capture quite what the originals did. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake did a better job of capturing what the original was trying to capture.

1. Halloween
2. The Conjuring
3. The Shining
4. The Exorcist
5. Alien

Very good movie and scary Trick 'r treat. Hey have you seen Camp Blood? .. I watched that last year halloween and it was so bad lol, it was beyond horrific, I couldn't believe how bad it was, the acting, camera work, everything.. turned it off after 35 minutes, couldn't go on any longer.

Watched this one when I was like 13. It was actually way scarier than I expected:

This one is supercharged 80's nostalgia:

I can't be the only one that finds it weird that John Saxon was in mad horror movies (TNoES, Black Xmas, etc...)

but also the white guy in Enter the Dragon?

talk about random
Yep John Saxon had an odd career, Enter The Dragon was by far his biggest movie, but he fell into horror movies in the early 80's and kind of got stuck there.

He is of Italian ancestry and is fluent in the language, hence his affiliation with Giallo.

If I see his name on a horror movie, that's good enough to make me watch it

You guys should also check out the REC. Films.
I like the first one and I don't mind the US remake Quarantine either.

The chick in the original annoyed me with her screaming though, maybe screaming in Spanish is more annoying than English!

Jennifer Carpenter did good in the remake

Speaking of Asia, my God. Talk about an ethereal, otherworldly beauty! She was absolutely stunning in person. Of course, she was just a kid at the time but it was impossible to look at her & not appreciate how beautiful she was. Like a piece of art.

And. yes, Klein's THE CEREMONIES is my favorite novel. Unfortunately, that was his only novel as he is notoriously non-prolific. Apparently he frequently suffers from writer's block & therefore hates the creative process of writing fiction so he very rarely does so. His only other book is DARK GODS a collection of four of his short novels.

Black Swan is a GOAT tier movie.

Ghosts Of Mars.

on a side note the halloween skulls and bones are why i halloween.....

doesn't that movie at one point have a scene that shows a bunch of severed heads stuck on stakes in the ground? I vaguely remember seeing that when I was like 10 years old and feeling light headed, and turning the movie off lol. unless I'm thinking of a different mars horror movie
