Reported for inciting genocide.
Reported for inciting genocide.
My arguments are based in the 1000s of people who have studied this bud. Again, there is a full novel that debunks your POV. It is not my POV that is fringe here; the antisemites love to go on about this, but not much of anyone else. It's kind of irrelevant to those of us without an agenda; it was a long time ago. I don't know if a Jewish dude stole your girlfriend or what, but even other posters are telling me you are obsessed. My arguments against you on this topic aren't grounded in claiming bias, they are grounded in the verifiable information presented by the people involved in this situation.
Your arguments are grounded in me being a "conspiracy theorist" and "Anti-Israel" so you may want to go check out that mirror I referred to you a few posts back.
pray for israel!
send US troops in now!!!
not sure if real
Final battle?
What is this supposed to be showing?
You likely have presented the most pragmatic and rational approach, btw applied so far by them. Personally I would go even further if I was them, I would throw Russia and China away as they surely will never help and are back stabbers, throw away nuclear program and accept to become second saudi arabia
But they have other plans obviously, staying away from America's orbit it is. Now seen from that angle, maybe they even waited for way too long. Had they gone all in back in early 2024 while Israel was busy with Gaza and Hezbollah was still quite active and they could have used Syrian territory to send troops as well they might have had a better chance. With Assad gone and Nasrallah decimated they waited hoping nothing happens and boom Israel destroys their nuclear facilities and military command structure. They see a pattern of getting a much worse beating every time they tuck tail so this time (could be late btw) can be the last time they still have something in their hands and the decision might be "use it and die or don't use it and die"
These scenes from Tel Aviv are brutal.
So much for Iran being "toothless"...
Of course the US does not want to create an international incident with Israel. The investigations were clearly skewed towards giving Israel a chance to 'save face' in the international arena. The official U.S. records of the Liberty incident were designated TOP SECRET and closed to the general public. That was an accident and multiple investigations by the US stated clearly that it was. That is a bullshit narrative. But I guess conspiracies is what it is all about these days.
The Court produced evidence that the Israeli armed forces had ample opportunity to identify LIBERTY correctly. The Court had insufficient information before it to make a judgment on the reasons for the decision by Israeli aircraft and motor torpedo boats to attack ... It was not the responsibility of the Court to rule on the culpability of the attackers, and no evidence was heard from the attacking nation.
— U.S. Defense Department's June 28, 1967, News Release concerning the Naval Court of Inquiry into the attack.
I was never satisfied with the Israeli explanation. Their sustained attack to disable and sink Liberty precluded an assault by accident or some trigger-happy local commander. Through diplomatic channels we refused to accept their explanations. I didn't believe them then, and I don't believe them to this day. The attack was outrageous.
OK I give in- you've found proof in this text!Of course the US does not want to create an international incident with Israel. The investigations were clearly skewed towards giving Israel a chance to 'save face' in the international arena. The official U.S. records of the Liberty incident were designated TOP SECRET and closed to the general public.
At the time of the attack, the USS Liberty was flying the American flag and its identification was clearly indicated in large white letters and numerals on its hull. ... Experience demonstrates that both the flag and the identification number of the vessel were readily visible from the air ... Accordingly, there is every reason to believe that the USS Liberty was identified, or at least her nationality determined, by Israeli aircraft approximately one hour before the attack. ... The subsequent attack by the torpedo boats, substantially after the vessel was or should have been identified by Israeli military forces, manifests the same reckless disregard for human life.
U.S. government investigations:
Ongoing controversy and unresolved questions:
Some intelligence and military officials dispute Israel's explanation. Dean Rusk, U.S. Secretary of State at the time of the incident, wrote:
Various details regarding the attack are the subject of controversy:
- Visibility of American flag
- U.S. crewmen's perceptions of intent
- Distinctiveness of USS Liberty's appearance
- Identification markings
- Ship's identification known during attack
- Effort for identification
- Motive: James Bamford, among others, says one possible motive was to prevent the United States from eavesdropping on Israeli military activities and monitoring the events taking place in nearby Gaza.
