Iran landing missiles on Tel Aviv isn't good for them. It's bad for them. That's just going to play up sympathy for Israel with Trump, and embolden Israel.

No war has been won with strategic bombing. It just doesn't work. It didn't work on England/Germany in WW2, and it didn't work on Japan (nuclear bomb is different), and it isn't working on Ukraine right now.

The only dumber thing Iran could do at this point is attack US forces.

Israel's anti missle defense system costs a ton of money for each one of them. They don't have an infinite amount and they're being used to take out old tech.

This is bad news for the US as we've spent probably trillions of US dollars on developing these techs, only for them to be obsolete until we can come up with new shit, which will take years/decades

We also saw this during the India and Pakistan conflict where the cheap Chinese jets were wiping the floor with much more expensive (advanced) French jets that India paid tons of money for
