I have a bad feeling that team tiramisus plan is to angle for that Gaethje fight next (we got some fools already campaigning for this here), then trying to run to WW and of course think that he should get the title shot right away.

At the same time people claim that Ilia ran away from Lopes and Evloev, but are totally fine with mofo running from Ilia and Arman.

Giving Justin the next shot just makes the already thin and questionable title run even worse. We just end up with more what if’s than with Khabib.

Asking Ilia to get a LW win is fine, but match Ilia against Justin or Hooker. Asking Arman to get a win is fine too, he can be matched against Justin or Hooker too. Then the champ should fight Charles in the summer. But for ffs don’t sit out and try to match the top contenders against each other. This is when people will shit on you.

If you got no intention to fight the top contenders at LW, then just vacate and get a top 5 win at WW to ensure your title shot.

You can't claim he is running from Armin when Armin just missed weight or got hurt. At this point it's Dana that is pissed at Armin. Ilia really doesn't deserve the fight without beating up one guy in the weight class first. If they give him the fight I will be excited for it, but he does not deserve it over Armin or even Charles.

I agree Justin is a fight I can't get excited for as Islam is just light years better.

If I was Dana I would rebook Armin and make Ilia take one fight, it doesn't have to be overly difficult but needs one.

But if you are calling Islam ducking Armin and wanting Ilia to fight once at the new weight class so people stop claiming he fights smaller guys only then you're off base with your assessment.

Other people have said that Ilia is ducking Evloev and Lopes, I just compared it to someone else avoiding Arman, Ilia and Charles.

In fact I don’t think Ilia is trying to avoid anyone, because he left the division.
If he would have stayed and tried to fight some other cherry picked opponents managed by the same manager, just to extend his championship run, or wanted Lopes and Evloev to rematch for the number one contender fight, and said that Volk also needs a couple of more wins first, I would think that he is trying to avoid these guys.
