Is Shara Bullet the weakest hype train in a while?

He strikes me as a stubborn guy who won't learn or train his weaknesses. So yeah, I was let down.

He did not only get taken down easily but seemed dumbly comfortable staying down when he had chances to get back on his feet.
He had Bruno in a triangle but didn’t know what it does <Lmaoo>

Whoa it’s been so long I literally forgot about Paddy lmao
<TheWire1>
he won’t compete I guess because he knows his demise is near.
He hasn't fought in so long he's gotta be getting close to 300lbs

Yeah, I was fairly underwhelmed.

I'll go along with the "Fun guy to watch scrap on an undercard" sentiment, but you can't say there's no hype-train when the announce crew was trying so hard to put him over during the fight, then DC not shutting up about him for the entire rest of the card. The praise was so out-of-proportion to what we saw with our own eyes, it felt like it had be a directive from the top... all this, while they completely ignored the elephant in the room: "Oh, by the way, this guy has one eye and probably can't be licensed to fight in any of the places where 90+% of our events are held".

For someone with minimal TDD on display, he was sure savage off his back.

He showed poor fight IQ accepting the bottom position and not trying to get up. He also had Silva in good position for a triangle but didn't attempt a single sub.

With his look and fight style, he'll put on some fun fights but I don't see him touching gold.

Very brutal striker, his standup is dirt nasty but yeah unless he significantly improves his TDD and ground game he is not going to go far. Even Poatan didn't struggle with Bruno's TD's so it's definitely concerning.

Can't be much hype considering I've never heard of him.

He won just wasnt impressive, still undefeated and still young-ish.

My friend @Hellowhosthat won‘t like it but I don t see him going very far. Pure kickers don‘t do well in MMA unless they are fantastic wrestlers (think of the Dagestani kickwrestlers like Said, Umar, Usman, Zabit) or have pretty decent grappling like Pettis, or have very strong hands like Perreira.
Bullet has neither of that and he keeps his chin up. Aggression, kicks and athleticism is not enough to crack the top10 on a LT basis.

If you kick a lot you'll be susceptible to TDs, it is what it is

Depends on how you kick. It didnt make Aldo, Israel or Wonderboy all that susceptible even vs way better wrestlers than Bruno.

None of those kick as often or as aggressively as Shara... And most of them are leg kickers
