He was a phenomenal fighter, but he was never a boxer I don't think I ever saw him box. But he sure could fight
Not even the best heavyweight. Best boxer of all time is "Sugar" Ray Robinson. Even Ali says that.
The sad deterioration of Tyson's career makes people forget how great he was at his peak. He isn't the GOAT but at his best he could have beaten any heavyweight who ever stepped into the ring and anyone who says differently knows nothing of boxing.
You wont find a "historian" of the sport, especially trainers that will put him anywhere near the Top Ten Heavyweights of all-time.
everyone got ktfo by prime tyson prime mike knocks lewis out.
then why did ali say this man is the greatest?
Who? Robinson?
Ali and Tyson were on TV flattering each other.
It's fine.
The reality of the situation is P4P Sugar Ray Robinson was the man. Arguably a rare select few might be considered better than the real Sugar Ray, but Tyson and Leonard are not in that select few.
has anyone even mentioned yet that Tyson was NOT 19 when he beat Berbick, he was 20 going on 21. That TS stated he was 19 in 2 seperate posts makes me think he is an idiot or a troll
You know the square root of f**k all mate if you think Ray Leonard is not one of, if not the P4P all time great. The man was an Olympic Gold Medallist, 5 Weight World Champ with wins over at least 3 other legends of the sport
his highlights were amazing
