Is anyone else really excited for Merab vs Umar?

How good is Umars cardio? Everything else seems to be in his favor. It's going to be Merabs ultimate test/nightmare match up on paper.

I mean maybe it wont be the most exciting fight on paper but yeah its the two best BW right now and a fight everyone assumed was gonna happen at some point.

Umar can strike and wrestle and Merab has the wrestling and pace, who comes out on top? I think Umar wins it but we'll see.

I like just bleeds, but this is one of those good historical fights. Get to see who the best grappler is at this point in time.

Not sure if I'll watch it live though.

Umar is fun to watch and has the skills and cardio to finish Merab. I'll definitely be tuning in.

If I am wrong, I don't know if I have enough room in my stomach for more crow. After Sean O'Malley let me down, I'm kind of full. lol

When Umar beats Merab, the answer for the lay and pray problem will be solved.

I feel like this could be a really good fight. Maybe not for the STAND AND BANG 24/7 crowd, but it should be a good one.

If it's anything like Arman and Gamrot we are in for a treat.

not really. maybe if umar won one or two more, it would seem more interesting. right now, it just seems like another hype train being pushed by saudi types.

Christian vs. Muslim Caucasian nations collide (the UFC would be smart to ignore that aspect). The wrestling and gas tank aspects will be interesting. Both guys use their wrestling to open up their striking as well, and the wrestling could end up being nullified so will it just end up being a glorified kickboxing match?

They should have the fight in Louisiana so they can market it as Caucasians amidst Cajuns.

For sure , very interesting fight

nope! but its necessary to determine who the 'best' bantamweight is

it'll be a co-main event on another card, bantamweight title isn't main-event worthy anymore.
What an incredibly stupid thing to say

I like this matchup alot, & it's super interesting to me. I like "just bleed" fights, but I appreciate technical & grappling/ground battles as well. I think Merab/Umar will be a treat on the ground.

Anyone agree?
This fight has nepotism vibes. Should be a good fight though! Hope they fight by December

The more triggered Merab is about this fight the more people should want to see it
