We'll see I know mike perry and ive slighted him before a fight and it never works out His only career KO was at the hands of Geoff Neal and Perry was in that one til the bitter end. Lost to a headkick btw
Mike has a bigger dog in him than Paul and he has the balls to even take this fight. Paul would never take this fight if the roles reversed
Hes meaner tougher and has better hands imo Paul will wilt and in a straight hands fight, I have Perry all day
Ill remember to visit you rain or shine
Boxing isn't MMA. That's the thing.
There's levels to it and a massive gap between even amateur / low level pros and most MMA fighters.
Perry has that dog in him, but Jake is better technically, defensively, better fight IQ, more versatile, probably more raw power as well. And from what I've seen, Jake is a fighter as well.
Not someone who's afraid to get hit or any of that, he's got the spirit of a fighter.
Overall, people just underestimate him because his name is Jake Paul, so very few actually bother to analyze his boxing objectively. The kid has more potential than most people realize.
Even tank said he was decent. Very few if any fighters are talking shit, only the fans really.
There's just levels to it. Jake got the better of him years ago in sparring and he's only gotten better.
Barring a freak, hail Mary knockout, I think Jake makes it look very easy.
Logan would've been a bit more interesting competitively, but I would've taken Logan too. Perry just isn't a great boxer and his poor habits technically and defensively are just going to be very easy to take advantage of.
Pure boxing is a different game. What Perry has faced in bare knuckle simply doesn't compare to someone who's trained as a pure boxer on even a lower level of the sport.
It's apples and oranges.
